This is an unofficial project which imports all of Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) main stages from Xbox360/PS3 version into Sonic Generations on PC. This project aims to port the stages as similar to the original game as possible, like gimmicks, object placement etc.. It also includes changes which accommodate to the total different physics and controls in Sonic Generations.
Finally Demo 3 is released! This time you can play 3 more stage from STH2006!
I've playing the demo for a while and I have have found certain issues regarding the gameplay:
1. in open spaces camera is somewhat unresponsive and cannot be fixed manually. this is specially complicated in levels like flame core when you're surrounded by enemies.
2.homming attack seems to have less range than in '06, therebefore some jumps are harder to make and it's easy to fall to botomless pits
3. collision on the buildings in the first segment in crisis city makes you lose even if you havent fell of the level (and you rather get stuck in a wall). this is a lot easier to trigger if you use boost.
for the most part it's looking really great, and i'm looking forward the finished version. even as it is, it plays better than the original, and i'm sure the finished one will play even better than now.
The game crashes right after the 2006 project intro. Any advice on how to fix this?? :l

Uh... For some reason when I try to play I magically end up playing as Blaze. Anyone else having this???
EDIT: Nvm, it was just my mod load order
My game keeps crashing everytime I click new game. I tried changing some save files names around like the way it says in the notepad, but it wouldnt work. Could someone help me pleaseeee.
This looks excellent... If Sonic 06 had perfect gameplay then I could have forgiven the glitchiness. A few questions though
1. I'm sure you guys will make sure there are as few glitches as possible right? :P
2. Are you going to include the extra characters such as Tails, Knuckles, etc as playable characters in the story? If so, will you change any of their mechanics?
3. If you're porting the entire Sonic sequences, could you reduce some of the Shadow vehicle sequences? They do get repetitive on the flying ones anyway, I enjoyed him rather rushing through a stage similar to sonic
