SteelMod is a 7 Days To Die RPG mod that aims to bring communities together for some RPG fun! A lot of servers want to run RP servers, but lack the necessary .xml modifications to really feel like they are playing a role in a world scattered with rag tag groups of people, all fighting to survive and control whatever seems to be viable left in the wasteland. We achieved this goal simply by restricting specific recipes to custom books, that, when read, will unlock a unique set of recipes that relates to the title of the "Job". This allows the server to balance so that there is no single power player in the world. You must come together, and build your civilizations, to reclaim the world that is owned by the undead. With a massive feature list, as well as continued development throughout the process of 7 Days To Die's creation. Below is what we currently have to offer

Where do I start?

I absolutely love 7 Days to Die as is, the game itself punishes you for your mistakes and rewards you for your hard work and dedication, you can really achieve a sense of accomplishment, even on the easiest settings.

The one problem I did have with the game was it's lack of overall content, it needed more depth, more creative options, it needed heart.

These are the exact things this mod brings to the table, it adds a whole host of new crafting materials, items, tools and weapons, not to mention the vast array of new blocks to build and create with, most of all it's done with a degree of professionalism and gumption that you rarely see with other mods. It's all done by an author (Redwolf) that loves what he does and who does it with a degree of determination that shows in his work, I'd say it's right up there with some of the top mods available, a definite contender for the top spot.

If I had a hat, I'd put it on and tip it to you good sir.

I'm sure I speak for many others when I say, thank you for your hard work, and I hope to see much more from you in the future.

Made the game playable :D

Its a great mod matched with a great server matched with a great game. Both the game and mod are a WIP but its more than playable and the modders/admins strive to make it better each day and are very active.

Constantly improving mod that multiplies this games replay value many times over. Friendly community with Admins that are right there with it every step.

Whether you're looking for a place to build with others, want to contribute to a functioning society, want to explore or just build, this mod has something for everyone.

SteelMod gets better with every iteration, and that's due to the hours the admins spend making this mod work, and every player on the server has the opportunity to provide feedback and ideas, which only bodes well for the future.

A must-have for any RPG lover, with continuous updates, development and tweaking. As 7 Days to Die grows, this mod also grows!

If you belong to a server that focuses on community and player interaction, this mod is definitely for you. IT pushes you to seek others, to cooperate and work together to thrive and survive.

Awsome game dedicated & active modders and helpfull support updates and fixes for mod bugs comes extremely fast and mostly w/O lose of character procress

Been using this mod for quite a while now and it grows with the game. If you are a fan of 7dtd you will enjoy this because it adds a whole lot of content and challenge.
Excited to see how it will evolve with future alpha builds of the game

This mod is packed full of features in game. With this mod you get a jobs, new items, weapons, food and tons more. The RPG element is there just hard to get in touch with it in game because their is no story for a RP to feed from so it is on every one else to make up the main RP aspects. Besides the RP being a little untapped, this is a great mod and recommend it for any one who love 7 days to die.
