Currently being developed by Starside R&D, this is a Total Conversion mod for the game Star Wars: EaW Forces of Corruption from Petroglyph Studios. You decide who has the right to survive, the Terran Federation or the Arachnids and their allies, the Skinnies. It will include space & land skirmish and Galactic Conquest and is based on various aspects taken from the movie, animated TV series, and the original book. Command your Forces in the silence of space or the roar of the battlefield, be it the Terran Federation or the Arachnid/Skinny Alliance. Use old favorites as well as brand new units developed for this conflict.

i love this interpretation of the ship although not 100% with the tv show version
i feel it captures the feel really well i love the hmm fins no wait those are arms hmm
im going with arms

beautiful you really know how to bring something to life

but you know what im thinking
the end of the arms could be converted into the engine

Yeah, I know it's not 100% accurate. I wish the sketches were clearer, it'd be nice to be able to read all the notes to tell what is what. Like the arms or engines. The ones on the sketch seem too thin to be engines, so I changed mine. From then on, it progressed on it's own. lol

Be honest now, do you think it's fine like it is or would the scetch design be better?

The "hammerhead" is the front, the arms pointing toward the back are the engines.

i love this interpretation i think it is better than the sketch
being not 100% tv design was not an insult what i meant was that it shows
that it has a different artist creating it.
it has the same flavor and i think that is more than enough
there is nothing wrong with this in my opinion i think it is great

im really happy about the arms i thought the skinny arms were bit ridiculous
and the slight change in the shape of the hammerhead better fits the general overall design
after all the one thing i can make out from the concept art is fleet science vessel
you make hte ship seem much more ready for combat

its like a cake you can follow the instructions and make a good cake that is perfect to how it says
but you can throw oreos in with it and make it twice as good

does that make sense

you did a great job especially considering how little you had to work with

We could, but it would make the ship inferior to the other corvete. Any refit, no matter how good would be based on an old body frame. I avoided this with the Rodger Young by saying it was a totally new ship frame based on the old design, but built from the ground up with all the latest tech, weapons, armor, & engines. That explained the simularities without it being considered an old ship. We could base it on the old science vessel design but new or we could come up with another story to cover the radical design.

I like the idea of an all new fleet built after the loss at Planet P to combat the superiority of the bug fleets.

That can be your new project. take your time and develop new bios for this and the new battlecruiser i'm going to make. The only guidelines are they are new ships built from the ground up. The corvete won't have any fighters but the Battlecruiser will. Be general about the weapons, but they should have all the latest tech, armor, engines.

considering that this mod shares more in common with the book and the first movie i accept
your reality for this mod

Well I'm straying from the book, movie, & series on that respect. While they did replace all the lost ships with brand new ones in the book, I'm doing it to explain the variations in my canon ships. You know what though, you might have a point. I just like the idea of brand new high tech ships for some reason. Play around with it, try out some different ideas. We'll finetune it as the mod progresses.

and i think to stray from one reality of starship troopers
towards another on and back towards another
i dont see anything wrong with that

it is a bit tiresome to have to find equilibrium
but it will be reached.

one pound of book. a cracked tv series. mixed well with some movie
baked for thirty minutes at 420 and left to cool for thrity minutes
with frosting made of imagination from the mod developers and oreos

i have to stop with the food stuff i think i might be hungry

dont complain that there isnt land battles. codeing for land is very hard as is modelling.
nobody wants to offer help
