Fix the Advent capital ship damage return please. My titan and other ships kill themselves literally in one shots. This ability is clearly not working properly and returns pure damage, ignoring armor and other factors. I'm talking about a ship that looks like a flying triangle

It wasn't changed from vanilla... That might be a game engine bug... Could you record what was happening and post a link, so i could report it with a proof?

I understand that this feature of the ship has not changed from vanilla, but if the modification includes a study for 100 weapon improvements, this fact should be taken into account. Therefore, if there is access to the file to change the parameter of reflected damage, then it should be reduced to at least 60%. Otherwise, the ships, when pumping damage, will simply self-destruct. Also, this problem can be solved by changing the type of reflected damage, but this is clearly more difficult.

As far as I can tell, the titan had high damage output and a lot of armor and shield points...

total hull = 16000+(122*16000*0.05) = 98000
shields = 60000
damage = 7000

So hull alone should stand = 98000/7000 = 14 shots (without any retaliation)

There were just 2 shots that depleted full shields (60000) and almost all hull.

That's really strange... How could it wipe out 60000 shield points in one shot?

Could you please record the same vid in english and show ship stats more clear and continually with turned off titan abilities?

Damage calculation is proceeding correctly. I'm talking about the fact that in the realities of the modification, the ability of the ship to reflect 230% damage is abnormal. This is a balance issue due to the introduction of new research. If my Titan has 7k damage in total, it takes 15k damage in return - that's not normal.

hull + shields = 160k (without mitigation)

160k/15k = 10 shots

In the vid the titan has survived just 2-3 shots, which is strange, don't you think?

But in general I agree, that it should be reduced... like halved?

I was gonna install this version but this bug deeply concerns me. I would hate my titan be destroyed so easily. I'd even hate if the ai destroys their own ships when attacking my advent capital ship as it will make the game boring.

Should I install the version now or wait until a fixed version is released?

This oversight gets noticeable only in super super super late game, when you have done few dozens of repeatable future techs.

I think it is pretty safe to try the mod out :)
