Ironclad recently released a brand new DLC for Sins Rebellion called Minor Factions. This meant that there is a new patch version of the game and that mods would have to be updated to take advantage of the changes and new features. I'm pleased to announce that Stargate Races r0.96b is now available for download and is fully updated to Rebellion v1.93 and the new DLC.
New Asgard Titan
Along with the format updates, a new mesh and textures have gone in for the Asgard Ragnarok Colossus.
I would like to thank the original mesh creator AlxFX and SGI/dotNfg for the low poly version of the mesh.
Custom Minor Faction
Along with all the new default minor factions, a couple special ones custom to the mod were added.
The Tok'ra
The rebel goa'uld are now in Stargate Races. Their access to Ha'tak class motherships makes them a relatively formidable minor faction and they offer reconnaissance, spying and the ability to conduct directed strikes to allies.
The Asuran Collective
The Asurans now also have a presence in Stargate Races, constituting a minor faction all of their own as well. They are an extremely powerful minor faction, with defences likely overpowering to lesser empires, so they should not be trifled with carelessly. For those who are allies, they can offer a strong military presence in their local region, able to send powerful waves of attack fleets to planets surrounding their homeworld.
