Stargate: War Begins is a full conversion for the awesome tactical fleet simulator Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. We intend to recreate the feeling of the hit Sci-fi Tv shows Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe. Our goals are to implement all of the ships seen in the series, and the original Stargate movie, and to release a full single player campaign, with configurable ships, and all the oppurtunities Nexus can provide.

Cool. The regular nexus energy allocation system is kinda weak.

How do you get into this panel? The wrench icon?

Eh... alas that no UI additions or changes could be made. : /

A pity it had to be via the communications system, but if it works, it works.

Though can kind of already do this by using the already provided power bars and then turning off devices in the device management to reroute generator power rather than battery to them.

Yeah, this is not all that necessary.

actually, it works in a different way to the regular power of nexus. If you divert the power to shields, you'll regenarate it a certain ammount per seconds and all that. We've also changed the power generators so that they deliver a LOT less power than what they used to.

Diverting power to weapons via that panel can double or triple the output of the generator, plus the already device management bonus.

And to answer Nathanius question, we replaced the F13 buttom, the one to jump via a jump node, which was not used.

actually, it sort of makes sence to be in the com, after all, it is sort of a big ship, and you would be calling someone in engineering

well, we didn't really have a lot of choices here... this is just sort of a hack I made using dialogs to manage different options, as in nexus you can't create your own menus and such.

Is there any other way to call up this panel besides F13? I am able to run this game on a mac, but I don't have an F13 buttons... but this is way beyond cool!

just hit the buttom in the far right, besides the F12 (hyperdrive) buttom (I know there isn't an f13 buttom in any pc or mac, but how would you call it instead?)

no, not an actual keyboard buttom. it's a mix up of mine, as I always refer to the buttoms in nexus panel as f1,f2,...,f13, regardless of their binding to the actual keyboard keys with those names.
