To go along with what JTaylorPCS posted earlier today, I am adding in this photo to show some of the work that I have been doing. I will have an article up soon detailing some of the stuff that we are planning, and hopefully you will all be pleased with the new direction.

i fear that i am wrong, but is that a Daedalus? or a different ship and if so what?
hopefully the favorite ship is untouched lol....but seriously
it says Daedalus on the side like a nameplate. atleast i think it does its kinda blurry lol.
From the pic, team colours and name plates on the ships? Texture refining? Lighting? This is derentis! =P

Hero ships?
I was actually thinking about that last night before I went to bed - "I wonder if it's meant to be a hero unit?". Hero ships are becoming a popular idea.
They could have 'the big three' - the Daedalus (elite support - nuke beamer), the Odyssey (elite battleship - increased shield mitigation, cloak and beam damage on account of the Asgard core) and the Apollo (elite planet bomber - due to the Horizon weapon system).
You'd have to get creative with the other races heroes (though not overly, there's plenty of lore to go around).
Isn't "A Sign of things to come" supposed to Battlestar Galactica's Shtick.
Either way looks pretty good.
we will be implementing hero ships and they will also follow the stargate story line. The names and classes of ships are a secret for now but i can tell u this much the Daedalus will be one of them.
