Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.
This is the highpoly model of the Tauri hero ship Aurora, with all its beautiful demolitions.
i am confused were on the ship is this
Looks like the whole front end in comparison to the Asuran ships
Look like a broken ship of the Asurans
this is gonna be an hero? so it is not destroyed in-game like in show?
we;; its looks like its going to be faily banged up, and will probably be one on GC map only
It looks exactly like in the show. That is the destroyed front. It will be a Tauri GC hero ship and because of its demolitions not as strong as a normal Aurora class battle ship.
Is this what we can assume that we'll see when we view the aurora, or will the in game model have a lesser poly count?
The front will stay exactly like this (as it does not use that many polys), but the details of the rest of the ship will go to the texture (as you can see on the Asuran Cruiser)
Beautiful! :P
Cool =P
behold the great tauri hero ship
the half blown up t\ancienct warship
behold as it gets blown within forty minute
actually that happens alot, ships that ae perfectly usable getting blown up
especially in atlantis
it happened like eight times
it is strange but also cool.
Wonder how much weaker it is gonna be compared to the asuran aurora-class.
well if it comes right down to it, you could self destruct it (assuimg you can self destruct it) and take out a whooping 2 cruisers (the explosion wasnt proven to destory a hive so i just stuck to crusiers)
@Ralok: yeah you're right...i'm wondering that they managed to keep Atlantis more or less in one piece. :-)
well, this ship coulda have self destruct ability what blows of half of map (all ships in range, no matter how strong will be destroyed, including friendli ones maybe), alls broken pieces, other than front, should be bridge, little on the right engine half and the antenna things on the ships left side(if u look from front side). allso lots of burned places from the wraith ship attack.
ok first of all if you think about it the Aurora's bridge was also destroyed, so i hope that you show that too, plus i would make the ship slightly more powerful then a standard Aurora due to the fact that the whole crew is in VR, they could provide assistance in improving the ships fighting capabilities, like how the captain gave Shepard the self destruct code, they could help the Tauri improve the ship.
