The Entire Mod will basically be a Stargate Atlantis based Simulator,
The aim of the mod is to create Atlantis in every way,
Every Room, Corridor, EVERYTHING,
The mod will contain the ability to create your own worlds and missions,
The 'Online' version of the mod will basically be designed for roleplaying,
Players will have the ability to create a team,
Like a Clan in a way,
The Team will be able to request a mission to complete,
This may include searching for a ZPM, Doing some basic Recon, Establishing Trading Partners.
The City itself (With Luck) will be powered by a ZPM, thus Planets need to be found that contain ZPM's,
But one planet WILL contain a hidden cache of ZPM's,
The Mod will be released in parts, so basically, EVERYONE is a Beta Tester,
Once the entire single player part of the mod is completed, then the Online Version will be put into the works!

Great idea, but i wish you had made this for arma 2, the first arma is kinda outdated now..

JohnSheppard, maybe I can help you in mapping the city, but only for the Source Engine.... If you want to use the Source engine then you know who you have to talk! And BTW, maybe I could help you in porting the game (I think the source engine is the more flexible engine, and I can make maps for it...)
this is one mod that i will be waiting for, but don't abandon this!! i have seen all to much SGA mod being deserted and smashed to pieces.
i truly hope that this mod is going to happen, i wish i could help but i do not have any experience with modding, sorry.
but a lot of people do i think, just hope that they will be helping if this interest them.
this will be one hell of a mod.

how about u start with just the offworld planets and the missions (Wraith/people n stuff) then once theres that going and out the work making atlantis can start, cus i think people arn't that fussed about the actual city (dont get me wrong Atlantis in a mod wud be amazing) they an me just want to kill some wraith n you know check out alien planets n cultures..............
I am 're-opening' the creation of the mod,
If anyone is still interested it would be brilliant,
I will require a website, a coder, and someone to assist with mapping out Atlantis ENTIRELY,
So, help is welcome :D
