StarCraft Gold (English/International Version)

This mod will do changes to all three races: Terrans (Super Cruisers, Power Generators), Zerg (Cerebrates, Kukulzas) and Protoss (Mothercarriers, cloaked buildings).
There is also a campaign of three episodes included. The story is not connected to the original StarCraft or Brood War story. There are already so many continues of Brood War that I just did not want to make another story of that kind. It is still interesting, I think.
I will not describe the mod here more in detail - I guess it would be half interesting for you to test it yourself after that ;) Just have a look at the first Terran Campaign - and, if you like it, well.... just go on! There are more missions waiting for you!

hmm the screens look great!
i have starcraft v1.161 and i patch it with the patch file included
it SAID that it does not have to be patched
however in the prepatch log it says
"patch successful"
so i launched that game and i saw the background(which was neat)
and i started a game..
and the whole thing crashes :S

You know, this was developed on Brood War 1.10.
So, you'll have to re-install StarCraft from scratch. Make a backup of your current StarCraft folder before, name it different. After having re-installed, you patch to 1.10, and then your older folder (1.16) should launch correcltly, too.
This way you'll have both version available, there are some more mods here that require 1.10 (simply because they're old).

Well, hard to say because I don't know what kind of problem there is.
The zip file contains Brood War Patch 1.10 which is required for Gold. It may run under other patches as well, but I tested it only on 1.10. So, without further information, I'd suggest you to run the patch, then quit Brood War (the patch starts Brood War automatically after installing) and then retry running SC Gold. If that doesn't work, send me a screenshot of the problem. You can as well try to reinstall StarCraft and then see if it works, but I think that will not be a solution.
IT doesn't work on my comp it says it always incountered a problem. How can i fix that??

Still, my work on StarCraft Gold is done. At least my work on the mod itself, I'm still thinking about making some missions or campaigns some time, but I'm not sure about that. But my next mod will surely use Super Cruisers and Mothercarriers as well, and your work on the graphics gave me a very good idea of how to soften the enlarged graphics!! I will defenitely have a look at them before releasing my next mod. Thanks!!
