Terran and Zerg versions of the Brood War secret mission "Dark Origin" are here. Featuring Stukov or Kerrigan discovering Duran/Narud's Protoss/Zerg Hybrid cloning compound, filled with stasis cells that suspiciously contain no Protoss inside them, but rather Ghosts or Defilers. Also included is the Boot Camp Tutorial mission, by popular demand. (Like 2 people but I had fun making it so whatever.) The Protoss version of Boot Camp features some of my worst and most strained sentence mixing yet so have fun with that I guess.

So can this be played without StarCraft Remastered?
It should work fine on older versions. Starcraft Remastered is technically free anyways, so there's always that option.

Since it released I think. The 15 dollar price tag is to add the remastered graphics, and the ability to switch between remastered and classic visuals. But if you don't care about the new graphics the game itself can be downloaded for free, as far as I remember.
Oh, okay. You were not referring to StarCraft Remastered so much as StarCraft/Brood War itself. "Remastered" is the version with the new graphics and the one you have to pay for. I got confused for a moment there.

I was very sad there was no tutorial level...The boot camp of rebel yell is something I would like to see added.
I mostly want to see how you will replace the marine telling you to attack move.
Does "To Chain the Beast" Zerg version require Remaster? Cause I'm playing with Brood War 1.16.1 and it's description when I click it in the map list says I need an expansion.
That was one of the maps I had to use SCMDraft for, to get the triggers to work properly. After taking a look at the map, it seems like SCMDraft might have saved it as a RemasteredHybrid map file which might be causing the issue. I'm not really that familiar with SCMDraft so that might be my bad. It also appears that I may have accidentally uploaded the wrong version of the map in the first place so I'll look into getting a new version out soonish. I had to use SCMDraft for a few of the other maps too, so let me know if you encounter the same issue with any other missions, specifically Return to Char: Terran version.
Yeah that has the same problem, don't see it on any other maps just going through all of them in the map list. Other than that though, haven't run into any issue with any of the maps.
