I'm really glad that a there will be another Clone Wars mod soon. Especially from your team, because we know it will be stable and high quality.
If I recall correctly both the Praetor I and the 2500m long Procurator were hampered by really slow hyperdrives due to Ruusan Reformation regulations, but during the Clone Wars many Praetor I vessels were refitted by KDY to carry a better hyperdrive that actually allowed them to be used in fleet operations by the second half of the war.
The Praetor I "Battalion" under Adar Tallon being assigned to hunt splinter CIS forces shortly after Order 66 is an example of their increased versatility.
The "Quaestor" is another example as it is stated to be one of several Praetor I vessels to be upgraded in order to lead strikes deep into Separatist space. It was finally destroyed in a Battle at Pammant, the planet were Malevolence was build, in part due to sabotage because the CIS was weary facing ships as powerful as Praetors head-on.
