A Clone War-era mod by the creators of Thrawn's Revenge. More details coming soon.
High-Altitude Entry Transport-221 (HAET-221) - more armored counterpart to LAAT and late era air unit for Galactic Republic.
Philloraptor did free release of HAET, but improved assets for mod use.
Model: Philloraptor
Texture: Philloraptor
Always good to see the more unknown ships of star wars represented.
Well, it's pretty much known, appeared in Ep 3 - RotS in Utapau Battle
Crazy that even something that shows up for like half a second in ep3 is getting love. Every facet of SW having a home in these mods makes them just feel so full of flavor. Good work!
Ah, the Republic Assault Gunboat. By the way, are you planning on making a model of the Jadthu-class Landing Ship featured in Matthew Stover's novels?
Landing craft - flavour thing, so not really high priority, we have enough for now
It's amusing how percieved-obsucre this is when in Rots it has comparable screentime and placement to stuff like the ISP, AT-AP, that are considered normal.
Really the only distinction is what got picked up for toys/games and thus propagated. Movie basis is fairly similiar.
True.
The ISP, AT-AP, AT-OT are shown more centre screen and from a good angle. The UT-AT is a bit more off in the back but still a good angle. I'd never seen the HAET before and even trying to find it knowing it was in one of the Utapau scenes I still missed it and had to rewind. I think we see three of them? One in the Venator where it's half obstructed in the back and two on Utapau where one is off in the distance and kind of featureless while the other one is shown from a poor angle.
I'm not suprized this ones gone so unnoticed.
Oh this that gunship from Utapau, the one we see for like 2 seconds right before Cody interviews his men I think.
Yes, it actually shows up in a lot of the Utapau scenes in the background
I'm never quite sure how big that thing is supposed to be. Where do you even get in?
