I'm not bashing you or the mod, I just think you should be better informed of the Star Wars universe.
A Gunner is not a marksman or anything of that sort.
They're the people that man turbolasers, or man the ion cannons of the Y-Wing, or the tow cable gunner of a Snow Speeder.
