The second Death Star has been destroyed, the Emperor killed, and Darth Vader struck down. Devastating blows against the Empire, and major victories for the Rebel Alliance. But the battle for freedom is far from over. As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance—now a fledgling New Republic—presses its advantage against the Empire.
But killing an Emperor, does not destroy an Empire. All of the galaxy's Imperial Moffs and Leaders rally to fight back, the Empire still rules many systems with an iron fist. The Galactic Civil War is far from over, as the New Republic and the Empire clash all over the galaxy, and it's up to you to decide which side will emerge victorious.
Star Wars: Prelude to Awakening is a SWEAW: Forces of Corruption mod that is set in the new canon right after the Battle of Endor, bridging the gap between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Fight as either the Empire, or the New Republic for control of the galaxy.

Hello everyone, I've got some news. I have a lot of schoolwork and exams to do now before the summer so i haven't been able to focus on the mod that much. But once i'm done with schoolwork I'll shift my attention back to Prelude to Awakening. Sorry for this pause in development, it should be over soon :)

Yes, this mod is still alive. I'm nearing the end of my exams, once they're over I'll return to developing this mod :)

looks intresting however are you adding new units for new republic because as I'm shure you know all they showed in the movie were x wings not much else or are u sticking with basic rebel ships for the republic?
Yes i will be adding some new units based on the comics and other media.
