This is A mod that will cover what I imagine should have been the story for Star Wars: Knights if the Old Republic 3, a long anticipated video game by me and many other fans of the extended star wars universe. It is being produced as a Mod for fallout 4, and features only original content and models by myself and other moders. It will have lightsabers and new weapons as well as a storyline that I anticipate to last 2 to 4 hours (cause im only one person xD) and I anticipate it to be released sometime in summer 2017. I may release it in chunks, and if so the first of which would be released sooner. I will need help from other 3d modelers, fallout 4 modders, and I will need help with the storyline although I have a general Idea of where the story will go. Stay Tuned for details! This is A mod that will cover what I imagine should have been the story for Star Wars: Knights if the Old Republic 3. It is somewhat inspired by the obsidian developer interview where they guy said something like "the game will be about exploring this dark empire that has been untouched and growing in secret for hundreds of years. What would that be like?" Those were not the exact words, but it went something like that. It is Also inspired by the story for Revan and the exile that Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO had in place for the characters, but I felt that story did not give Revan and The Exile credit. They were very powerful Jedi, and I doubt them so easily defeated by the emperor. Furthermore, The Exile's companion Lord Scourge had visions of there defeat much time before it happened, why did they not prepare more? And i find it a slap in the face that One Jedi defeated the emperor but Revan and The Exile Couldn't. So that's where this mod comes in. The story basically goes as follows:

You are the exile. The game starts off with you waking up on Dantooine, in a cave. You have a brief amnesia and don't remember where you are or how you got there. A short time later you meet up with a scout of the Jedi enclave, one of many who have been looking for you, and he tells you that you left the academy two days ago and no one has seen you. You return to the Jedi Enclave (The Exile has somewhat restored the Jedi order in the past years and they have reconstructed and remodeled the entire enclave to completely restore it from damage) to be informed that T3-M4 has gone off into the wilderness looking for you and you set off to find him. I don't want to spoil anything else, but when you find him he will reveal how to find Revan and you will set off looking for him. At this point i am not sure if I can get a T3-M4 companion into fallout 4 as it is a really custom robot, and if I cannot figure anything out T3-M4 will be destroyed and you will recover his memory core or something and maybe there will be an Automatron style companion with a T3-M4 head or something but that's all up in the wind. But yeah, you set off to find Revan and with him you go and do some epic stuff, probably (you guessed it) ending with an epic boss battle against the emperor.

So yeah. Environments and Interiors are about thirty percent complete (the first 3 planets including Dantooine are nearly complete, as well as the Academy/Enclave Interior as well as the Ebon hawk inside and out are complete) so I now have room to start creating quests for the first part of the game and I need to start worrying about getting creature models, and armor models into the game both of which I am not skilled at making. I also need someone to help spruce up my story with twists and turns and write Dialogue. Voice actors will be needed in the future, but not yet. If you can help out, check the Help Needed post in General Discussion for more info.

Thanks for reading this and I hope it gets you hyped up! I will post more screenshots of cool things as they are made on this website and keep people update. I know allot of people have high hopes for the Kotor 3 game that will hopefully still come out sometime, and I hope this mod hits the spot as best it can! Thank you and have a wonderful Day. :)

I and a friend are now working on porting the KOTOR II TSL PC version unto the mobile KOTOR I version!
Please check out our project here:
Moddb.com
Kotor2mobile.wordpress.com

We decided to implement a concept we created and called "open-development", meaning that we just release everything as we create it, and from there it gets spread everywhere on the internet and other modders could see it and want to contribute, etc and this makes it too late for greedy companies to C&D it!

I firmly believe thet if the Apeiron team had implemented open-development (which i recommended them when they started the project but they choose not to heed my warning!), we would have had a partially finished game where other modders could pick up and finish it, or even the original devs could continue work annonimously!

Hello, I have taken over this project from the hands of TheWorldBuilder. This project has officially been re-started, being built from the ground in unity 3d. For the most part we are maintaining radio silence, for now keep an eye on this mod page for updates, although there will probably not be allot of content updates. Working in unity is actually allowing for far faster construction than the creation kit. I have people helping me, but
WE STILL NEED HELP!!!

We need:
Video Editors
People experienced with Unity Mechanim (Need models rigged)
Animators
Modellers
Programmers
If you think you can help, you probably can.

Emails sent to kotor3mod@gmail.com may still be read as I have taken over that email as well.

Thank you all for the support, may the force be with you

Since the Fallout IV mod has been cancelled, could You please release here what You have worked on it so far, since the level design was partially finished?

It would be awesome to play as much of the mod as has been made, and it would be a great inspiration / resource for other modders out there!

Please consider this, as there is no much use for it anyway since You started a new project, and it would be a shame for all that work to be forever lost...

Hello all, long time with no update. I have very little time (Like 5 minutes). About to go on a 2 week road trip and when i get back i will resume work on this mod. It Will be a standalone project in unity 3d. The reason for this is because the Apeiron project has been shut down and there is again need for a fan project. My idenity will not be known to hte public, assets will be used from kotors 1, 2 and whatever else I want to rip them from, and Bioware or Lucasfilm or Luke Skywalker Himself can send me a cease and decist and they can find the game on thepiratebay and can send their mail to John Doe

You could also try to rip off assets like models, textures, sounds, etc. from other older Star Wars games such as: Star Wars: Jedi Knight 1 & 2, Star Wars Republic Commando, Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 (obviously the ones from 2002 - 2004, not the new EA ones)...

The assets look really similar to the ones from the Kotor games and im sure they would blend in perfectly, since they're about the same size and poly count and from roughly the same time period!

I believe some of these games were even developed in Unreal Engine 2, so technically importing them to UE 4 should be possible.

You have my sincere and utmost respect! That's the attitude if we want something done!

By the way, since you're switching over to Unity 3D and this mod based on Fallout 4 will be discontinued, could you release here what you've been working on so far? Not only will your hard work so far be preserved instead of being lost, but releasing the assets would inspire other modders and would come as some consolation after what happened with Apeiron!

Another word of advice, that I also sent to Apeiron back in 2015 when they started their project but they chose not to heed this warning, and if they would have followed this advice the project would have been at least partially preserved: publish all your work as you go! Store a public backup of your mod on an online platform like GitHub, and update it as frequently as possible. This way we can store content on our computers and send it between us in case on a C&D!

And if this helps, somebody managed to import most assets from Kotor I directly into the Unreal Editor IV!
Here is the video: youtube.com/watch?v=sMKlsbzhKOg
This is how the modder said he has done it:
"First I decompressed the .bif files into a .mdl format then then converted them into .obj format then imported them into blender then exported it from blender into a .fbx format and then imported all the files one by one into unreal which took about 7 hours on its own (just South Taris alone is made up of about 62-70 (I lost count after 53) different files)"
