Looks good! Will it have the same offensive capabilities as the regular Super Star destroyer?

Weapon stats wise yes, though of course it can't attack while cloaked.

I gather much much more potential in the right hands, especially for hit and run attacks.

Wow, loved the Knight Hammer in Thrawn's Revenge. My absolute favorite ship in the mod. Really looking forward to how it'll be used in this mod. I'm guessing it'll be classed as a titan, unlockable only if you side with Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Will Admiral Daala be in Interregnum? Despite getting a lot of criticism from fans, I really enjoyed her character, despite how she was featured due to terrible writing. I thought she might be a potential hero unit upon siding with Thrawn considering their similar goal of unifying the empire.

That is indeed how you can get the Night Hammer, but since in Interregnum it has a cloaking device I think you'll find it plays quite differently than in any other mod. ;-)

Daala was considered for a possible hero unit yes, but sadly it is not possible to give different hero units based on which warlord you side with. This is because you do not pick a Warlord until after the game starts, and the structure used to manage hero units must be present from the start of the game. All the Warlords thus have the same hero pool.

So lore wise, I'm afraid Daala is still at the Maw facility, unaware of the chaos going on in the galaxy much as she was unaware about how the Empire was losing in the real canon. She is available as an avatar for the player character however, as like you, the players, she might emerge after I stop telling the story 5 years after Endor and change the fate of the galaxy.

couldn't you have the hero structure filled with all nine possible slots but the research required to get them would be "special"? what i mean by that is the hero research would be locked until you pick a warlord but each warlord only unlocks two or three hero researches.

The problem is the structure needed to spawn the heroes only has 4 ability slots, not nine (you do not build heroes like normal ships, its all abilities). If I were to give the warlords different heroes, I would need 5 abilities slots per hero (one for each warlord plus neutral/undecided), and I think having 4 structures dedicated to spawning heroes would be overkill. :p

i never knew there was a limit on abilities but in that case oh well it'll be great either way

Yeah, 5 per entity (ship, titan, building). Hero spawning structures use one slot for their invulnerability however, so really they only have 4 available.

Great news, there are so many neat strategies the player could use with that cloaking device. Such as sneaking behind enemy lines, and striking less defended planets.

Maybe there's an alternate method instead of using the hero structure. Maybe a special planet/gravity well that represents The Maw on some maps with a unique structure akin to the structure in the Pirate Base. As the empire you gain some research bonus and perhaps Daala as a unique unit in her Star Destroyer, the Gorgon. As any of the other races you'll perhaps be rewarded with some other bonus.

Not sure if this idea is feasible, if not then not a big deal. What you've done with the mod is amazing.

If Daala does show up anywhere it will probably be something like that, yes. :-)

There's not really any sneaking with cloaking in Sins. Unfortunately, the way cloaking works in Sins, you'll still see the icon of the ship in the gravity well and you'll still be able to click on the ship, and even tell your own ships to attack it.

So enemy ships will still follow you around, they just can't attack you because the "Cloak" is essentially an invulnerability buff.

Unless Goa has figured out to actually cloak things which would be a revelation for Sins modding.

Pick the Imperial Warlords, join Grand Admiral Thrawn's faction, construct the second titan (the Executor). It will be replaced with the Night Hammer when it is complete. Had to be done that way to get around the silly 2 titans per faction hardcode limits. :p

Description

The ship before you is the Night Hammer, the first model I've ever entirely retextured myself and the last new model that will be included in the next update. A jet black Executor Super Star Destroyer that's equipped with experimental stealth armor, the Night Hammer has a very different history in Interregnum (chief among them, it is never renamed by Admiral Daala to Knight Hammer, the more commonly used name for the ship.)

As in the standard Star Wars canon, the Night Hammer was the idea of "Superior General" Sander Delvardus. However, instead of constructing it in the deep core, in Interregnum Delvardus was sent to repair his forces at the shipyards of Bilbringi after the Battle of Eriadu. He then became one of the dozens of minor Imperial Warlords, and devoted all the resources he could spare into the construction of the ship.

A few years later, Grand Admiral Thrawn gained the blessing of Darth Vader to retake the shipyard, as it bordered Thrawn's own forces at the gate of the Unknown Regions. While Delvardus' forces were easily defeated and the General was unceremoniously executed, Thrawn also recovered the half completed vessel and continued developing it under his own specifications. Having already acquired the prototype cloaking device from the Emperor's storehouse at Wayland as well as some of the schematics to an earlier cloak equipped Star Destroyer, the Terror, Thrawn was able to equip the Night Hammer with its own cloaking device. With its massive firepower, ability to be undetected by long range sensors and tactical cloaking capabilities, the Night Hammer could be an unstoppable weapon in the hands of a military genius like Thrawn.
