The Story of the Game I just Finished 20 Minutes Ago (noncanon)(obviously)
The Third Battle of Bonadan was not a long one- a substantial Trader Fleet showed up at the system to reclaim the Star Forge from the remainder of the Galactic Empire, as the Empire had been reeling back from a series of blows from the Ascended Advent and New Republic for a time.
The Traders immediately began to bombard the planet and destroy the orbital infrastructure, only to be utterly surprised by an Imperial fleet rivaling their own. The Imperials weren't supposed to have this kind of firepower, but the Traders engaged anyway. After only a few short minutes, the Imperial fleet had successfully routed the Traders and began to replicate their TIE Escort Cruisers.
The Imperials advanced further towards Trader Space and eventually triumphed against the two major threats that were the New Republic and the Triple Alliance, crushing all opposition and instilling fear in every citizen's heart; letting them know that the Empire was the only true power in the Galaxy.

Fantastic! :-D
I wondered when someone would show off fighting the sins races. I'd like to see how well the Kol could do against that mark one destroyer in a one on one fight.
I have about 50 or so pictures featuring the Vanilla factions, the problem is you can't tell that it's actually Interregnum in a few of them.
Wait, is that a Star Forge?
Yup. It has a small chance of spawning at colonizeable planets. The one who can capture it and find the ancient technology required to operate it will get a plentiful supply of free ships. :p
I have like 4 star forges in one game.... I still can replicate anything :(
You need to explore your planets and find the Infinite Engine artifact to use the Star Forge. If they were easy to use, they would become an I win button. :p
yet to find infinite engine artifact though lol I already control the second star system entirely and one sector of the first one
I once found two Star Forges on adjacent planets, but neither had the Infinite Engine. None of my enemies had Forges, but I didn't have the Artifact so I scrounged the Galaxy until I found the Engine... and proceeded to get 100+ Escort Cruisers and Vindicators
I have a planet that has two I **** you not two of them and still no infinite artifact...
Wow
the big giant structure standing right next to the planet? yep.
