Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Going back to the Rebel's frigate roster, the Neutron Star Bulk Cruiser isn't nearly as classy as the Liberty MC80 Cruiser. In fact as an old civilian ship with some extra shields and weapons thrown on, the first thought of an Imperial captain fighting this vessel might be that this is too easy. However, when part of a fleet the Bulk Cruiser plays a central role as one of the most versatile and helpful repair cruisers in the game.
As it was initially a cargo ship that kept its significant storage capacity after being converted into a warship, the Neutron Star ships carry supplies a task force needs for almost any situation. This means the Neutron Star is the only frigate in the game that can restore shields, hull and antimatter to allies, supplementing the Rebels already strong healing abilities. It also has higher than average antimatter regeneration rates to ensure it can use these abilities, though you will still likely need to prioritize which stat to heal or find your cruisers constantly drained of mana.
