HOW TO INSTALL;
- The file you download is packed; you need either Winrar or Zip to unpack the mod files.
- Once open; drag the folder called "star wars - galaxy at war - public version 0.6" inside your "Steam/steamapps/common/Men of War Assault Squad 2/mods directory.
- Start Men of War Assault Squad 2 -> go to "options" -> "mods" -> select "star wars - galaxy at war - public version 0.6" and hit apply; if done correctly the mod is now mounted and can be used.
NOTE; we recommend to not use other mods alongside Galaxy At War because there is a good chance those mods are not compatible with one another.

What has changed since 0.49
- we added multiplayer back in (4 factions, CIS, Empire, Rebels, Republic) The Republic has sub factions (501st, 212th, 65th, 21st, 104th)
***multiplayer is currently infantry only based, only speeders are available to use, we are going to add more vehicles soon
- we added AI (Bot) support to mulitplayer and local games (requirenment Airborne DLC)
- the mod is now english only with a more complete translation (weapons, units, items, etc. have now a proper translation)
- new maps (+ overhaul of all sw multiplayer maps)
- new breeds for all categories (editor)
- a variety of new props (+ CTA props)
- new turrets (+ Rebel DF9 turret, Rebel Medium Tower, Gi-19 turret)
- new vehicle (+ Haifire Droid)
- a few new weapons
- fixes for Spanish Warrios Missions* (+ they now contain the proper text files)
- Weapon Balance Overhaul (we basically re-balanced all existing weapons to be more balanced for multiplayer, those changes are going to translate over to missions and general editor gameplay)
- new multiplayer mechanics (+ the technician can place turrets and cover, the officer can place a supply droid)
- new Star Wars inspired HUD (+ Icons)

Unless given authorized permission from one of the lead devs (Ltmurphy/Juju) do not take any models, textures, sounds, etc for your own mod. If you wish to use them in a private/personal mod feel free to, but we are asking you not to use them if you are going to be uploading them in a public mod. We don't own all of the models (since a lot came from games), just some made by us (Dev Team) and ones edited by ourself from games.

im not much involved in the campaigns or mission making in the mod but i know that there is missions, idk if the mission maker is planing a campaign later

this version is not available for steam due to our head dev that uploaded it to steam (and the only one that can update it) just went offline or took a break without informing the rest of us when he will be back so until further notice we can't update it on steam

No. But you have to disable the version from steam; you can't have both applied at once.

I cannot get the mod to download every time I try to download it it will give me an error and I've tried every mirror and they do the same thing?
also its not a firewall thing the error is a failed network thing but I can download anything on the website but this file

What is the range for infantry blasters in this one? I know it changed with I'm pretty sure .49 to about 75 or 80 meters max. Is it still that or back up to about 150 for regular infantry?
All weapons have reduced range now; it was done because a default map is like 300-500 meaning a unit was able to shoot another unit half across the map. We reduced it for the sake of balance.
you can take out the mod any kind of versions I would really appreciate it

Is this supposed to take 3 hours to download or what? I saw a youtuber download in like 15 minutes and mine says 3 hours so I am a little confused
When I download the mod, it doesn't come as a zipped file. My windows has an unzipping program in it, but now when I add the file(not folder) to the mods folder, it doesn't show up in my men of war options menu. Any idea what may be causing this?
the mod is packed using winrar; but it can be opened by zip aswell; just open it or use winrar and move whats inside in your mod folder; you can also check the description above.

I cant get this mod to work. I've tried downloading it 3 times now and it takes 2 hours each time but every time I try to place the WinRAR file in my MOWAS2 mod folder it never shows up in the games mod options to be enabled. And I'm trying to extract the file in my mod folder but the thing keeps saying that "The file is either in unknown format or damaged", and I have no ***** idea how to fix it and I'm getting kind of frustrated. Any help is obviously welcome. BTW I don't have the full version of WinRAR or whatever and I'm definitely not paying for that dumb ****. Please help someone. This is why I like steam workshop but the GAW mod on there is old and has barely any content.
7 zip extracts it download
then there is something wrong with the file because ive downloaded it 3 separate times and evertime I try to extract the file "WinRAR diagnostic message" pops up saying that the file format is unkown or damaged.
of what size was your downloaded file? it should be 5.10 GB if its any less the download was not completed and it cannot be opened by either winrar or 7zip; the file itself cant be damaged cause everyone would have the same issue as you have.
yes the file is 5.10 GB and Ive downloaded it 3 times now. It always says that it is damaged or in unkown format.

i just love what u guys are doing <3 love u for that bcs im really big fan of clone troopers <3 ... i just have a few fawor with u guys when it comes to loop for clone units they sometimes dont have theyr helmets on it would be nice to be fixed <3 and also if there will be a more missions for mod <3 gl with whatever ur doing and im happy for new mod ... looking forward to instal and enjoy it ^^
