Thoughts and Prayers for the victims in Newtown image - Star Wars - Clone Wars mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
This is a total conversion mod for Empire at War / Forces of Corruption. It takes place right after the Battle of Geonosis in "Attack of the Clones". Replacing the Empire, Rebels and Zann Consortium with the Galactic Republic and Seperatist Alliance along with The Hutt Cartel, Pirates and Neutral Worlds.
Today in Newtown, Conneticut, USA a very disturbed 20 year old man shot his mother and then went to an elementary school and shot 20 children and 6 adults before killing himself. This event cuts me very deep and I have shed a lot of tears today. I live on the other side of the country and don't know anyone connected but none the less it hurts me badly, as a father, as an American, as a human being. A similar violent act happened in China but luckily it appears no children were killed. Violence is bad enough but to hurt or kill children is just................evil. Pure evil. I would like all of you to have the victims of this evil, senseless act in your prayers or just your thoughts if you are not of a religious affiliation. Hold your children and your family tight because life is precious.

ya excatly what i was thinking im a christian i shoulndt curse people to hell it justs that very wrong pearl harbor and 911 was one thing but he just killed innocent kids so it is not my place to judge
may the god give them strength,its really sad indeed,for those affected i wish god give them strength to support the hurt of loss a loved one, and may their lives get better, and that the suffering ends, may god watch over you
a similar disaster happened here in brazil, a man, appear to have 28 years entered in a school and killed hundreds Teenagers and teachers, and after he killed himself... :'/

That's... that's just horrible. My condolensceses to the close ones of the forever lost. I was near to tears when I read what you wrote Ozzy.
We in Britain share your pain, and send out our condolences. But before we judge this man, does anyone know his mental state? Was he ex-military with PTSD perhaps? Don't take this as an excuse for his crime but it is good to understand why he did it.
No it is a complete mystery at this point. He was described as a very bright loner. His connection to the school is very vague. His mother may have substituted at the school years before and its possible the shooter attended the school many many years ago.

thank you, this means alot. im a high school student and i live 2 miles from the school, its a terrible sight to see swat teams and ambulances going back a fourth, and mothers crying. its unthinkable that someone would do such a terrible thing. please keep them in your prayers.
Spartan. I have not seen so many tears from people since 9/11. I live on the west coast and I can't even tell you how many people have been breaking down in tears over this. It has truely been a loss for the country and world. We are all in mourning and will be praying for peace for this small community.

my condolences from Finland. In our history this only happened twice, in Jokela 9 got killed and 12 injured. In kauhajoki 11 got killed and 3 wounded. Both times killers shot themselves, both did things exactly similar way. They were inspired by some american shooter...
If its about writing your name in history, humanity is far too corrupted. If its just "a tough", it might be becouse of so many people around you, in history EVERY major city has been corrupted, perhaps in this era corruption of human kind is bit different? They get crazy. My advice, take a break and go to country side (or anywhere outside city and masses of people)

This is a tragedy and for those kids that were counting down the days till' Christmas it's even worse. I'm not going to say anything about the gunman except that God forgives him for his sin.
Fascinating behavior. One wonder what drives the animalistic core to this point.
But in the end these things happens all the time. It's sad that these people are another statistic.
I'll meditate around this. I can only imagine the trauma they must be going through.
Sometimes peace is not so good thing. Few hundred yers back he would have enlisted in army, there he would do all shooting and hopefully realises how stupid war is.
