A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... This is how the most famous space opera begins. With this mod we want to bring the Star Wars universe to the upcoming CryEngine 3. You will be able to play the whole saga from the movies when this is finished, but until then it is a lot of work... Mainly this will be a single player mod, but we will probably add multiplayer as well. We want to use most of the new features of the CryEngine 3 as procedual destruction, deferred lightning and so on as good as possible. Furthermore we want to create a couple of new features like a sabersystem, the force and much more...

On the left there is the old texture, on the right the new one...

By the way the main building is made by Juls, I only added some details (which you cannot see by now, because they are on the other side...)

The new texture looks a bit too detailed from the viewing distance, but it does look better

Description

Hi, I spend my weekend on learning how to use uvw unwrap (the building was made in sketchup, working on a sketchup model in 3ds Max is just horrible ;-) )Furthermore I tried out the detail maps...By now I only managed to texturize the backside of the building (be sure, the frontside will be less boring), nevertheless I would really like to know if you like it ( if you donĀ“t like it,there is no need to continue with this "horrible" work ;-) )...
