A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... This is how the most famous space opera begins. With this mod we want to bring the Star Wars universe to the upcoming CryEngine 3. You will be able to play the whole saga from the movies when this is finished, but until then it is a lot of work... Mainly this will be a single player mod, but we will probably add multiplayer as well. We want to use most of the new features of the CryEngine 3 as procedual destruction, deferred lightning and so on as good as possible. Furthermore we want to create a couple of new features like a sabersystem, the force and much more...
Hi, after a two week break I am back now and want to present you my latest model: the A-Wing.
It´s my first 3dsMax model (except two simple buildings) and still work in progress, but I hope you will like it...

I think the biggest problem will be to change the ai, getting the fighters working should not be too difficult.

I think the fighters scripts would be a problem too, stering them only with the mouse and WASD (360° flyable fly on the back, on the side, on every angle) this will be a problem to solve... I hope we can manage this... What did I say WE WILL manage this problem!!!

Well, about the scripts: I remember that there should be a simple system for vehicle creating in CE3 (don´t ask me where I found it, probably in a E3 video from Crytek), so we should wait if it becomes easier...

Cockpit view is no problem but the joystick...
yes, I want to start the cockpit the next days (I am a little bit afraid of it ;-) ) and I hope there is a way to add joystick support.
