Early TNG Fleet
They look great, one question though is I see how this works with the Federation, covering the different eras. But how will a series spanning time line effect the design of the other races? That works well with the Federation, Klingon and maybe the Romulans. But what about races like the Cardassians or the Gorn?
Well, there is some instances of most of the races, and I'd say they'll fill in the blanks with some original ships. After all, you make different ship types already, for the borg this could be especially interesting. Imagine if the borg can research a tech for other races ships and when they get them they can build assimilated versions. The tech "Dibsing" method is already ingame.
Great question really. Lots of design inspiration has already been established. It's floating all around the internet now. Look to Armada 3 for a great example of how diverse the ships designs are for each faction. :)
It will take work and imagination, I would wager.
