I originally worked on and off the Star Trek Doom Project from 1997 to 2012. I resumed the project in 2016 and have totally redesigned & remastered it for GZDoom. All aspects of Doom II have been completely modified. New Textures, enemies, weapons, music and sounds. The Enterprise-D is in its seventh year of service (Between Season 7 & Generations Film), you play a young junior Lieutenant sent out to test upgrades on a shuttlecraft when a futuristic Borg cube emerges from a temporal portal launching a devastating attack on the Enterprise. After seeing the Borg Cube destroyed by Species 8472 emerging from the same time portal you decide to return to the Enterprise to try and help take back the ship.

File I downloaded was corrupted. While trying to unpack it gives error and thus, therefore and so on...no mod cannot be played.
Blake00 check this and fix if this truly is so that file you uploaded is bugged.

Sorry man it looks like a problem on your end. I tested the download a while back but just to be sure I just download the file again and everything extracts just fine. Other people have posted here that they've downloaded and played it with no troubles too.
Make sure you have the latest version of 7zip, if you're trying to open the file with some other zip program or an ancient version of 7zip it could cause issues. If it's not that then try downloading in a different browser maybe? Try another computer?

This is really good mod! Sadly however I currently can't play it. My Dell Inspiron gaming laptop was all I could possibly afford and it recently busted, so I had to buy a $179 old used HP Pavilion laptop which isn't a gaming computer. The new Bloom (Blood and Doom mix) mod and this mod are both "slideshows" no matter how much I turn down all the settings. Hoping I can somehow afford a better laptop . I was able to play the first few seconds of this though it's great! Good work! Can't wait to get a better machine!
That's a shame... I had hoped that even a cheap laptop these days could run intense GZDoom stuff pretty well. I haven't dared to try it on my little cheap bed side notebook though haha.
GOOD NEWS! I just opened the mod in Slade and disabled all the smoke effects and now it plays real well!
It was those transparent smoke effects from the fires that slows my machine down. (i turned off Ambient Occlusion a long time ago first lol)
So anyway now I played this mod a bit and it's fantastic! Love the design so far. I wasn't expecting the holodeck to be so atmospheric.
btw i'm running a refurbished HP Pavilion I got on sale, it was like the cheapest ever computer I could possibly get. The fellow I got it from did an excellent job refurbishing it but I mean you get what you pay for lol and there's a ton of compatibility issues with Windows 10 so I'm on the bottom rungs of PC gaming society right now haha.
Hoping to get a better comp soon and/or getmy Dell fixed
Pretty awesome man. I am playing it on gzdoom with fishbiter motion controls streamed to my oculus quest via virtual desktop! Too bad there aren't any 3d model enemies or weapons but its still sick!
Thanks! Someone posted a video the other day of playing my mod in VR. I was stunned haha. Very cool. Sadly 3D modeled bad guys are a bit beyond my talents but I'm glad it's still playable in VR.
I just finished playing through, and Wow! I really like the look and feel of this. I really hope the full version is completed one day. I can't wait to help Lt. Doomguy take back the Enterprise! Take care, man.
