Everytime I try and start a skirmish match the game always crashes before it fully loads. I was told to supply an error log:

This seems to be the main issue "filepath failure, path doesn't exists 'G:\Homeworld 2\STC_GAMMA\data\locale\English'"

Also you have this as your install path "G:\Homeworld 2\STC_GAMMA\data"

I think you've installed it into the wrong directory somehow, this should be impossible though as the installer checks for the Homeworld 2 EXE on install...

Can you please uninstall the mod and point the installer at "G:\Homeworld 2"? If that's the actual directory of the game?

This should be fine, I always get the same error ;)

Can you try running the HW2 exe in compatibility mode? (e.g. WinXP SP2)

I have multiple versions of Homeworld 2 including mods so I made my own custom directory for everyone of them. Its currently working and allowing me in the game its just when I load the match the game crashes when its just finishing the loading process, as for the compatibility mode I have never had a problem with running HW2 or any other problems like this :/ I just ran it in compatibility mode and the same problem still came up

Hmm. I can run vanilla HW2 without problems, but once I want to play STC I have to use the compatibility mode. But apparently this did not solve your problem. If you are running several different mods with one HW2 version, it could be that they share one profile and some settings in this profile are incompatible with some mods. You could try removing the 'Profiles' directory so that a new profile is created when you start STC. If you are using the launcher this shouldn't be a problem, though. Could you also post the content of this log file: 'QeffectsGL.log' ?

When I started the mod it asked me to make a new profile so I did that, its currently in a new profile made only from the mod itself and not from an old profile. I just tried anyway to delete the profile and start a new one but still the same problem. here are the contents of my log file 'QeffectsGL.log':
