Description

This is a full standalone installer version with a launcher and the option to scale back to default shaders and fonts if your system has trouble with them. DISCLAIMER: This mod was not made for the Default shaders, it looks horrible when using them, however it plays just as well and we didn't want to exclude anyone!

Have a look in the Bug Reporting thread here Moddb.com to see if you're missing anything like the v1.1 patch or if you should try using Shader 1.

Mine was version 1.0 but now windows DEP keeps killing Homeworld2.exe and it won't let me add to the exception list. :(

If nothing helps, try a map without planets like the Deep Space map or the default HW2 maps!

I Love the game, and keep up the great work. I have a dumb question to ask. Are u guys going to add the other races to play i am a hug trek fan and love what guys are doing. I dont know if u looked at the first homeworld with the startrek mod but i think it would be cool to have more races.. IF not that's fine love the game keep it up

P.S We sould have a star trek wars tournament To see how will rule the galaxy LOL When the mods done

Having an issue getting started...

Downloaded into this path... "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release"

However, the launcher will open but the game won't start. I have reinstalled a few times to try to figure it out and the only error i get is when i go to pick a folder to install into, i get the error message the the "homeworld.exe" isn't there. However, it is there and i have other mods running from the same path... any help for me?

instructions would be nice. for those of us who do not use windows, because star trek used the mac system, not windows,, all of their computers are mac based, (like the ipads and such) check it out for real, in the movies,,, kinda cool. need manual install destructions.

The very concept of tablets were based off of Star Trek props, not the other way around.

And if I had to use either an Apple OS or Microsoft OS on my Federation starship, I'd choose a Microsoft OS. True, it would probably crash often, and not be very user-friendly (Not that LCARS is any better), but I would be able to easily modify my ship in a pinch.

In a pitched battle against Romulans, I don't want to have to jailbreak my computer to recalibrate my sensors, and then have Starfleet shipyards tell me they can't repair my ship because I voided the warranty.

Just as a heads up, but this release is, for some reason, broken as ****. I don't know what happened, but the Star Trek Armada voiceovers are replace with vanilla HW2 voices. No shields, broken textures on the probes...
I don't know what happened.
