So what's going to be the strongest cap ship (besides the Titan ofcourse) for the federation in this mod? Sovereign class like in SoA2?
It's a toss up between Galaxy and Sovereign. Galaxy in essense replace the Kol Battleship in normal sins and the Sovereign is a carrier but she has quatums.
A curious choice, to put Sovereign as a carrier. In my opinion, Sovereign should be support/utility ship.
On the other hand, I doubt that the Federation has ANY ship that could be counted as a carrier. Or any other Star Trek race, now that I think about it.
The only non-canon Starfleet carriers I know are the one from ST:SFC2 and the USS Typhon from ST: Invasion.
we took elements of what they did with sfc2 with the excelsior being a carrier during war time due to the shear amount of shuttle bays it has and applied it to the sov based on similar design
There is another race that has a carrier Don't forget Shinzon's ship the Reman Warbird Scimitar from Star Trek Nemesis it carried several Scorpion-class attack fighters
Oh yeah, I clean forgot about it, but you're right. Shinzon's ship did have those fighters. Mostly I forgot because I don't want to relive Data's death.

This is only the battle that would freeze my computer because of low memory.
not nessecerily, one of our beta testers uses a low end pc to play the mod and it runs quite well for them. the only factor so far we have encountered is if you have low bandwidth for MP other than that we have tested on a veriety of computer rigs with little effect on overall gameplay with large fleets like th one above
