She should be less vulnerable to disable. Perhaps some research could buff Starfleet ships.

I want to say, I wish we saw more of Enterprise-E, but we actually have seen mostly all there is to see in the movies. Like the description says, its lack of families on board makes it less appealing of a ship visually, but we saw most of it. The Bridge (obviously), captains ready room, conference room, Sickbay, engineering, lounge, quarters, holodeck, shuttle bay (a little bit), that stupid little room with a blast door that seemingly has no purpose lol. And we got to see its bussard collectors in action.... though that came at the cost of something very stupid in the process which I shan't mention. But that's a lot for a ship that's still practically new.

We've seen more of the Enterprise-E in three dumb movies, than we were supposed to have seen with the Enterprise-D Galaxy class in 7 seasons. We were supposed to see A LOT more of the ENT-D, but was limited cause of budget constraints. Its a real shame too. Cause I like both ships, but I'm biased towards the Galaxy Class.

I remember a version of SoA2, where one of these bad boys could eliminate an entire borg fleet on it's own.

This model looks infinitely better though.

Description

The Sovereign-class heavy explorer represents the pinnacle of the current generation of Federation starships. The most advanced conventional starship in the fleet, the Sovereign, like the Galaxy-class before her, is designed to operate on the farthest reaches of the frontier for long periods without support. Carrying some of the most sophisticated equipment in the entire Federation, the Sovereign is set to continue to legacy of Starfleet's legendary deep space exploration ships.

Though they share a common purpose, that of peaceful exploration and fostering of understanding between species, the Sovereign differs from her legendary predecessor in many ways. Featuring many aspects of Starfleet's current, more pragmatic approach to starship design, the Sovereign is long, sleek and majestic, with a more integrated, monolithic profile than the traditionally shaped Galaxy. Somewhat smaller than the immense Galaxy, the Sovereign does away with many of the luxurious pleasantries of her older sister - the Sovereign, for example, makes no accommodation for the presence of families or civilian personnel. This is for the best, as recent years have provided Starfleet with painful lessons in the perils inherent in pushing the boundaries of the frontier. Launched in dark times of conflict, danger and strife, the Sovereign was designed to overcome these challenges, while still remaining true to the vision of the Federation.

In times of conflict the Sovereign serves the Federation fleet as an advanced battleship, using its heavy, state-of-the-art firepower to great effect in the Federation's defence. Equipped with the latest phasers capable of firing in all directions, rapid-fire photon torpedo launchers and a dedicated quantum torpedo launcher on the underside of the saucer, the Sovereign is slowly taking her place not only as one of the Federation's most capable pioneers, but also as one if its mightiest defenders.
