StalkerSoup is now a standalone game with installer and auto-updater, currently at Version 110008.
Players can choose a variety of modes including DX9, DX11, and a further enhancement called SweetFX. By opening the script in the gamedata, players will find the modders.script that allows a wide variety of options to 'sculpt' the game to personal preferences. Currently there are 2 levels to the game and 53 areas. Good hunting.

no, it was megamod for Shadow of Chernobyl
It started as a series of mods attached to NS don't know spelling but it depended on the SSOC vanilla game being loaded. Then it became a standalone but needed to be assembled, now it assembles after download as an .exe, a bit like SGM2.2
I will test it right away.
Just hope it will be easier than Joint Pack 2, which is insanely hard (and that comes from someone who played Misery 1+2 bunch of times and always play every mod on Master).
That way I have chance to experience all that StSp content without ripping my hairs off.
Joint Pack 2 was easy, just had to download the right one, the GSC forum one infected my PC, but JP2 is easy. :p
Hardest part of STALKERSOUP is finding the download link. :p

Never played stalkersoup, I wasn't cheeki breeki enough, but I think I'll give it a go this time around.
I don't understand the part that says 2 levels and 53 areas? Is that in addition to base game, or total? Or you can't play base game at all and this mod is 2 levels?

Yeah I failed at reading, in the mod's site you can see there are levels of progression within the game. Copied and pasted in case someone's not decided:
Collector (Level up 1): Treasure Hunt, ZEP and Gold Bars.
Desolation (Level up 2): Storm, Treasure Hunt and Gold Bars.
Reclamation (Level up 3): Storm starts receding and repopulation begins.
Guess I'll have to try and find out!

I played Soup from your MEGA repository and have a lot of fun.
I still can't believe I managed to beat Cave in minute without getting lost.
There is one question - why updating does not work? I used UpdateSS.exe from game directory and it say "no new version available" yet it's still v.110007.
Is there anyway to download this using Torrents or something? Mega has download limit that makes you wait a long time before you can continue.
