We'e found that interesting decals and markings in the game add significantly to atmosphere and immersion, we're sure you'll agree when you find them yourself!

Well, you might the different factions have wildly varying ideas on what constitutes "their territory."

I really, really like this idea and concept. I always thought decals were not used to their potential in the STALKER series and I've said this a lot of times, too.

I had a massive amount of graffiti stock images and references for when I worked on a CE project on my HDD. When I recover what's left of it (if my pc wants to start), Ill send them riki's way. I'm sure he'll find lots of use in them, as they were based on photo's taken from within pripyat and surrounding areas / countries.

Keep it up Beac. This is the most anticipated project for me. Surpasses OGSE, and that says a lot ;)

Thanks mate! Appreciate it.
Graffiti stuff would be great if you could send it over to Riki, I'm certain that extra inspiration is always helpful!

You could have a situation where you use clues put into someone's markings as a way to learn some valuable quest related detail, Or maybe a series of pointers that give you the co-ordinates to a secret base or stash? Or maybe finding and in doing so activating a set of Freedom markings in order to have a stash and enemy combatant spawn somewhere on map would be good.

Yup, that's definitely the plan. The nice thing about having a library of decals is that we can use them wherever we want to direct the player's attention, communicate themes, change the ambience, and so on.

I like the idea, but i think that particular style would fit Freedom more. Duty being a serious militant faction would probably just use a boring stencil of their blazon/faction name (most likely in single color).

Definitely. Though no one said that was drawn my a Dutier. Could have been Duty sympathizer, who knows.
