As an interactive novel with more than 30 possible endings, The Seed is one of the most ambitious projects developed in the Construct engine for both PC, Mac and Linux.
As a player, you will take the role of the protagonist and explore the world after world apocalypse in 2026. The items you find and the choices you make will either limit or expand your options in the plotline.
Some choices will be emotional, others practical. Some choices will be simple while others will be hard. But they will all have an impact on how your story progresses and how your character is defined.
The Seed has raised the bar for plot branching by offering more variety than any other interactive novel developed for the digital platform.
The story will unfold with such extreme diversity that your second and third playthrough can take you places that you didn't even learn about in your first playthrough, or experience the same locations from completely different angles.
Another very unique feature is the HEXACO-based Personality Analysis module that will track and analyse every choice you make throughout the game, and give you psychological insight on your most prominent traits as a post-apocalyptic survivor.
The Seed doesn't morally hold the hand of the player or make judgement.
The novel aims to immerse the player in a morally gray world where the good choice can often have terrible consequences and the bad ones can have good results.
