Not every mutant kill generates lootable items as some of them are too infested to be worth anything. But most does. Sniper class has hunting perks and will be benefit more from mutant body looting. The diversity of lootable mutant parts is huge.

Holy ****, that's amazing. I could never expect or ask this much from any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game or mod, you guys are my heroes for real.

Awesome! Do crows die in an emission in 2.0? If so that's going to be some fun looting. :)
And why does the sniper class have the advantage? It seems like recon would be better fit because sniper rounds are terrible against most mutants. And mutant parts would be a logical progression from medicine. I am sure you have a good reason.

Everytime I look in here I think to myself "it can't get any better than this" but then you come along and... well, I'm stunned, again. Kudos.

One question if I may: When you say hides are inspected for their condition, will the way one kills a mutant influence this condition? Does it make a difference whether you kill a boar with a clean headshot or put a lot of holes into its body? It'd make it even more realistic but I'm wondering if something like this would even be possible in CoP.

It won't make a difference how you kill it.

Id imagine an emission would irradiate the bird. Sure it might work for the small items they could have, but a valuable bird itself would probably lose a lot of value from lower condition.

Any chance of using pelts and hides for lightweight suits? Burer hides could probably help against some rifle rounds :p (those bastards are already hard enough in vanilla, some extra monetary or item gain would make them worth fighting)

Hunting crows would be a lot better if there were birdshot shells. Also, I wonder if you've changed their behavior where they just fly around in circles around you, keeping things that way would make hunting them pretty dull.

Oh man, this badly needed tons of new scripts because of that new abilities in-game, I am very surprised again. But what about that cooking. Will you make kitchen on the Stations or what?
And about that crows, I was really happy when you posted one picture with Demon from Metro 2033 as the faked mutant. But crows? Jesus man. I would relly appreciate you would add that Demon into MISERY 2.0 as the new challenge only for high experienced stalkers. Or add some other, but new and stronger mutants. And don't say anything about the Chimera cause I can kill that bitch using one F-1 grenade and quick legs anyway and it still easy mutant to kill.
But can you really imagine that Demon as the flight-able mutant? It would be great.

That's a good idea. It's not just a simple mod, it changes all the mechanism and we will have an entire new experience, when we'll play it. This is so wonderful.

It isn't. All the classes can hunt, the sniper class just has some bonuses to make it better suited to hunting.

Does cutting meat works like GUI- dialog with "window\" or it works just like hitting body with knife? Loot with crows is a good idea, I have never seen this before in any mod. We all know that after emission crows die. Why not to run and collect all valuable items then? :D Will you fix it?

You will be surprised when you find out how hard it is to spot a fallen crow.
You must practically follow its path down to have it land at your feet.
Hunting has many facets and this is just one of them.
But you will experience this first hand.

When I go out from safe-zone I see that crows fall near my legs... And one question about valuable items: what exactly crows can carry with them? As I know, only rook`s stomach can contain something, but crow just carry shiny things at his beak.

Perhaps pelts could be stitched into armor and helms. Seems one of the most practical ways. Besides, who wouldn't want to wear a bore's head atop their own?

maybe not make full armors out of hides and pelts, but use them to repair armors is something that 1. would make sense ,2. not as hard to replicate

I was wondering, will other classes have class specific/orientated skills as well? Like assault can better scavenge ammo off of other stalkers, or the recon can better spot artifacts or such. Just kinda thought it wasnt fair that sniper kinda got a class specific skill that can be useful in many ways ex-can hunt for money, food, and even other lucky things from crows.

All 3 classes have a range of pros and cons + a set of unique perks/specializations.
See them all here: Moddb.com
They are very different in style and attributes.
We did our best to balance them out.

The only problem is that these perks are more focused in saving money than actively searching for new ways to make money(more refreshing) like the sniper.

Would the something shiny happen to be an artifact? I can think of few other things that are shiny, small, valuable, and lying on the ground in the Zone. Shooting crows for artifacts would be interesting...

I doubt it, all artifacts are bigger than a crows' troath (as far as I know), so it's impossible for them to swallow a whole artifact, maybe you will find small bullets or batteries and probably some remains of dead mutants or humans :P

Gauss rifle batteries would certainly make crows the most valuable game in the zone.

Description

You can loot skins/hides/pelts from most mutants.
You can even trade these among other Stalkers.
Crows are now also lootable.

See earlier upload about the Mutant Hunting submod here:
Moddb.com

Diversity of 'parts/items' that you can acquire through mutant hunting counts a dozen of various meat chunks, a dozen of hides and another dozen of special parts like hands and legs.
