To install Last Day, download and install these in order:
The mod runs standalone, meaning no pre-existing installation of Call of Chernobyl or Call of Misery is required.

The first version with the main author of the translation back in development, this version attempts to address numerous glaring and minor errors alike, as well as include various changes and updates to the file structure, some of which come from an upcoming version of Call of Chernobyl itself.
The version number has been changed to 0.11.0 due to the still incomplete status of the translation, which will once again be restored to version 1.0 once everything is complete. Nonetheless, the old version 1.0.1 is still up for download on GitHub.
Almost every file has been changed in one way or another, and any content not related to the actual translation has been removed; such content should either have been sent to the official developers of Last Day—not being present in the English translation only—or included in TRX: Fixes ’n’ Tweaks.
As such, any file not listed in the changelog is likely to have a few undocumented changes of minor significance: typo fixes, improved formatting, improved translations, etc. An attempt to move to British English is also being made, in accordance to its usage in Call of Chernobyl itself.

Im getting the same error Toske_wolf is getting.
I still have a problem starting thegame with translation.
I installed it like you said. When i open a new character it crashes in loading screen and changed to russian when i open it again.
That kept happening to me. Until i realised that i forgot to install the LD patch

Something wrong with this File: ui_mm_faction_select.script. I cant start new game at main menu (Frozen Faction Button).
I fix it when I replace it from version (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Last Day English Translation 0.9.9).

In the last version of Last day with english translation, It sometimes crash when loading a quicksave (or hard save). When this happens i (like a normal person) start the game again. When i do the English translation is "rolled back" to russian, any idea how to permanently fix this so i dont have to drag drop the translation file, EVERY time it crashes?
I still want to point out it was the LAST version, not the latest.
Go to game options and switch language from rus to eng and reapply the translation. Should be all fine and dandy after that.
Attempted that but both are russian for me :| tried reinstalling everything yesterday, BUT now it dosent crash as often as before after the new files from march, so theres that

I think there's something wrong with the faction load outs, as no weapons are available when picking a faction from the new game menu. Is this intentional?
An erroneous script file caused this problem. It should be fixed in the newest update for the translation.
I recommend to check newest translation because I'm getting CTD every time I turn on dynamic news and some stalker finds artifact.

Death messages are also broken.
I reinstalled the whole Last Day mod, only applied the latest patch and english translation, but it crashes whenever i want to click options. why?
EDIT: nvm installed TRX fixes and it works fine now
I'm having a problem where everything else is translated fine and well but the "You're goodwill with a faction increased by 50" is still non translated.
As well as I lost the hints that the game gives you during loading screens.
After i install all the mods on LD everything works fine.
But after close the game ( or it crashes ) nex time i open the game translations mostly disappear only travel points on the map remain translated.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

The game works fine but whenever you apply any settings that require restarting the game, doing so makes the game go back to Russian, and then you have to close it and re-apply it (Which for some reason makes some mods not work due to them being made for adding said mods post-translation application)
Any idea why this happens?
you dont need to apply translation again, just set the localization in game menu to Eng from Rus

A couple translation issues, haven't seen mention of them yet.
1) The Free Stalker technician and trader in the sawmill at Darkscape do not generate names correctly. They appear as their class names in dialogue.
2) Not sure if this is intentional. But the inventory screen lists a Free Stalker player as a Loner still.
3) The dialogue when using Delayed Repairs option is still untranslated (as it has been since CoM 1.0d). Asking the technician how long until the work is done gives a Russian language response.
4) There are a couple other STCOM related translaton issues but I won't list them unless you guys really care.
I have a Problem. When i click "Factions" in New Game menu - nothing happens.
Before,In russian version everything was fine but when I installed the translation the "pick faction" button like... locked itself. I keep clicking on it and nothing happens. How do i fix this?
