Loot condition dependent on rank in the options menu needs to be disabled for the mod to come into effect for weapons.
Based on Enemies Dont Always Drop Broken Guns, made by crazyiscombine and adapted to work with Last Day as well as the Outfit Marauder addon:
What this does is determine the quality by a roll of the dice, there is a 5% chance to find a weapon in excellent condition (80-100% condition), 50% to find one in average condition (65-80% condition), 30% to find one in poor condition (25-65%) and 15% to find one practically destroyed (1-15%).
Mind that this does not affect weapon distribution and quality types (low level bandits will still carry Worn and Rusty guns, some will have actually been maintained, for example.)
It's up to you if this affects balance or not, personally I don't think its very cheat-like, but for those who want it then there it is.

I think an easy improvement would be to add a rank multiplier, so Legendary Expert etc, ALWAYS dropped decent guns maybe?
It would suck to kill a legendary and then he drops a crap gun because theres a 45% chance he'll drop a gun lower then 60%...IDK what are your thoughts on this?
I also like using this because there was a certain dynamic where if you killed a legendary and then some rookie picked up his gun b4 you...when you looted the gun it would be rookie condition instead of legendary :/

All outfit's and helmet's i've found so far have 0 condition.

It seems that all the people I've killed do not drop armor or apparel of any kind. I can live without this feature, but does anybody have a similar problem?
Yeah it's the outfit script causing it,since i removed it i'm finding a lot more outfits.
That's really, really weird. I haven't touched the frequency of the outfit drops.
I've uploaded a new version of the addon that addresses this. The latest version of Last Day drastically reduces the chance of outfits appearing on any stalkers compared to earlier versions. This addon did formerly not interfere with the outfit drop chance at all.
It now removes the RNG element of the outfits, guaranteeing a drop whenever possible. If this seems too overpowered, I'm open to any feedback. Then again, the whole point of this addon is made to make looting a more viable option in the game, especially fitting for Ironman players.

Although, I'm going to ask you a quick question while I have you :) Is the only way to discover blocked passageways to buy them and hope you get the right one? I would love to be able to buy specific passages or just disable the feature outright. Any thoughts?
The developers of Last Day over at VK seem pretty strict about how the mod "should" be played. In version 1.1, they removed an option to keep all routes open from the game menu, which in my opinion is pretty stupid. They also used to keep the debug menu disabled by default, and they've recently readded it begrudgingly, telling players "not to abuse it". Vk.com
Anyway, rant aside, you can use any dropped PDAs on corpses to unlock a random route for free.

I'm a native English speaker, and "passageway" would sound more intuitive to me. I've also been meaning to ask you another thing. Do you (or other STALKERS) just hang out on here (moddb), or on a discord/ts server? I would love to talk or help with your translation mod. If you sent me some translation related questions I would be honored to help you, and give back to the STALKER community best I could - I have always loved the English language (even though it makes little sense at times).

I would like to know if the guaranteed outfit drops will work even with the "loot condition dependent on rank" option active.
Pretty sure they will. I don't think the setting affects outfits.

Appears to still work, got a crash in Army warehouse but it's just on a single save so don't think it would be this. Just backup your 4 main folders and try it for awhile
