For me this is crashing on startup. It can't find spgame.ltx. I have no idea how to install this; do you not just extract it?
And if I move the spgame.ltx from main directory to bin, it tells me I'm missing system.ltx if I launch from the exe, because if I use the batch launcher it gives me a bugtrap error I can't see because of the splash screen covering it
To anyone hitting this from google, I solved it by installing microsoft net 3.5 that came with the steam installation of clear sky. Apparently that's a thing. Additionally I started with the .cmd file, not the exe.
Issue resolved.

I ran out of time to do further testing. I'll try again some patches later. I fixed that crash anyway... I think
I noticed there is quite a bit of translation left to be done in the starter area.
