Anomaly is a standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod powered by an x64 version of the X-Ray engine. Starting with version 1.5.0 Anomaly uses a custom engine build called the XRay-Monolith engine. After almost one year of development of the Anomaly 1.5.0 update, the mod continues its way on expanding and adding new features while maintaining a high level of quality and replay value.

I have wanted to have this in Stalker for the last couple of years.
- And haven't seen anything even close to this.

In the end, "do it yourself".

Putting the 'weapon use/stat info' in the PDA has many drawbacks with it:
- The need to modify several Anomaly files, and various potential incompatibilities.

Writing a new/separate script nets a much more 'future-proof' result.

I've thought about the idea of "5 favorite weapons list", but that one would necessitate gathering data about every single weapon used. - Considering that Anomaly has several hundred different weapons, that would amount up to 500-600 different data that needs to be saved/loaded at any time.

- In short, a very 'expensive' idea.

Nice idea, but the game crashes when using a knife

stack trace:

(This happens when knifing someone normally with an equipped knife, or with the quick melee mod which uses a varient of that, anim_wpn_knife or something like that)

Thanks for the feedback. - I already removed the need for the "weapon_class" section.
- Not all weapons have it, (hence, the grenade/knife crashes), and I ultimately don't need it in the script.

Will release the next update in a while. Half an hour or so.

I wonder though if maybe for knives if maybe there was a way to have number of hits/slashes and "kills" (be it just successful one hit kills like with stealth kills or perhaps just all kills made with a knife)

ANYWAYS, thanks for the mod, might just help me figure out where I should focus my weapon usage and skills towards (though most of the time I lean towards scoped rifles for the dual role of sharp shooting and scoping out an area).

The info/data that become available provide some objective indicators of one's 'style' and efficiency.

Can be used for fine-tuning one's tactics and ammo/weapons used. - And/or revealing one's 'weak points' so that they can be improved.

Then there's the economy, weight carried, etc.

These are only some of the ways that this data can be used.

As for the knives, they are very unreliable and borderline useless, in order to consider them more seriously.

Most NPCs I have to repeatedly hit 7-8 times.

P.S. after trying out many weapons/ammo/combinations, a "Scar-H with a suppressor and ACOG" is the ultimate weapon for me in Anomaly.
- Considering/comparing all the relevant factors, (weight/ammo/cost/requirements/capabilities..), it wins hands down.

After a lengthy 'battle', I managed to successfully deal with this issue.

Check the v1.26 update and the changelog.

P.S. I made a very small update to 'Dynamic Objects' RC2.
- The confirmation message is now localized in RUS also.
("'Динамические Объекты' были созданы по всей Зону. Береги себя, сталкер.")

The numbers/data can't be in a perfect (vertical) line, considering that the string (left of them) takes up different number of horizontal pixels.

Example: 'ДРОБОВИК' takes up slightly more horizontal space than 'ПИСТОЛЕТ'.

Note also that this apparent 'pixel deviation' becomes smaller with higher resolution.
