Very nice! The svd is my default sniper riffle and this animation is much better, you dont see the right arm halfway up the screen anymore <3

Thanks!

We also get new walking animations and running, empty reload and bullet in chamber reload! Did you replace the config file or edit the anomaly file? Ive replaced and added tons of weapons in SOC but never in clear sky or COP is the process the same?

First off, thanks!

I edited the original config to house the new animations, as well as the weapon placement parameters.

I have never ported anything to SoC, but I would guess it's pretty much the same thing.

Can I include this in Yim's Weapon Tweaks, with proper credit?

Not the full release, the anims need a bit of fixing because the bullets don't go to the magazine during the animation, as well as the reload syncing

Gotcha man! Just let me know when/if you're okay with it. Lovely animations so far, though.

Great mod! I love using SVD in Stalker and I must say that these animations are superior to original. Being nitpicky, I will point out one thing tho, reload sounds does not match animations perfectly, but it's easy thing to fix.

You have my gratitude sir. For some reason iiopn animations just doesn't fit stalker as it was for CS:Source. That and the dev decided to slowed down the animations for god knows why.

As I mentioned, I got these animations from STCoP blame them, not me.

You shouldn´t stop with the SVD Animation, and add the animation for the AK family from STCoP 3.3 too. Great work by the way.

Hi, is it theoretically possible to port STCoP 3.3 pack as a whole into Anomaly? Since the stcop pack Anomaly uses is pretty old, outdated and painfull to spectate many of these old animations.

Yes, I would imagine it's possible.
It's just an overwhelming amount of work that puts everyone off imo

Holy **** I literally was just looking around the addons to see if anyone had done the SVU, the SVD anim is really nice looking, can't wait for the SVU as it's probably my favourite sniper.

Nice. SVD having no bolt catch is the most very common mistake in most games. For some reason people seem to think that SVD lacks this feature

Play around with

control_inertion_factor

in the w_svd.ltx file open with notepad
higher number makes it slower if i recall well.

What tools did you use to make this animation?

I mentioned that these were ported from STCOP 3.3.

To do animations for stalker however, you need a tool to do the animations on (blender or 3ds max atleast)
And stalker sdk

Thank you! I assumed that maybe you had to tweak the animations a bit before porting them, which is why I asked if you used any tools to work on said animations.

Planning on redoing the Kiparis animations, as they really need new ones. Kinda lost interest in the SVU after I didn't get the bolt to look like I wanted :DDD

Excuse me, sort of a late reply here but is it possible to apply this animation to the Lynx? Or does it need a new mesh as well?

wait, this addon is compatible with CEMENT? I tried merging both but my game crashes when I equip the svd, strange..

Anyway, is you hud fov set to 0.7? this is the recommended fov for CEMENT, but you can still lower it if you want.

Much nicer than having to wait for the 'draw the SVD out to use' animation to finish, that was really annoying... thanks for this!

Hi, great job! Could you please help me? I want to ported animation for my AK-103 from STCoP 3.2 or STCoP 3.4. What files are needed for this?
I realized that the necessary files are:

configs\items\weapons\w_ak103

meshes\anomaly_weapons\hud_animation\???

meshes\anomaly_weapons\hud_hands_animation\???

The last two files (???) they are missing in STCoP 3.4, I can't find them. Help... :(

P.S. This is a Google translator, I don't speak English yet. I'm sorry if the text looks like "Bear, vodka, balalaika"
