The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Allows you to listen to the RF radio by simply equipping it in your detector slot. You still have to take it out to set frequencies and it will still drain power.
Works well and is a very immersive and welcome addition to my mod list. Thanks for creating this!
A very nice mod, realistic. I imagine that, in the context of war, people wouldn't be holding pocket radios, when there are more important things to hold, like an 'effing gun.
Helps with immersion, and as always, any addon is welcome.
Can't wait to try it out, good job bro. Seems like it would pair really well with TB's RF Receiver mod Moddb.com
This is a really nice QOL thing. Love mods like this. Any plans for doing stuff with the other detectors as well?
I considered giving the echo detector the same treatment, but when I actually took a look at it ingame, it seems like there is an antenna looking thing that needs to be "aimed" when you equip it. In my opinion the justification for the RF radio being handless does therefor not apply here, so I dropped my plans for that.
I am currently working on another mod that changes some stuff about radiation, and in the context of that I might want to change how the geiger counter works, turning it into more of a proper dosimeter.
how do i activate? when i put away it turns off
If you installed it correctly and nothing is conflicting with the mod, simply putting it in the detector slot should enable it.
Thanks, i was wondering if there are a way to add a "hand radio" tap to the PDA, so the radio hand become pointless. cause since the vainillia game the PDA come with a radio in it. i was trying to make it by my self, but, im unskilled coding..
