The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
As the title says, it just removes dropping weapons when you take damage or get punched

Would this work with Moddb.com ? It will make you drop a weapon based on arm damage.
There is probably a way to edit the script of the other (awesome) mod, but I am not nearly intelligent enough to do it.

I lost my favorite Bizon (fully upgraded), still bitter about it!
dat addon didn't use actual arm damage ( cause stalker didn't have it ) it's just randomly damage "body parts" depends of actor's health lost

Finnaly, no more droping weapons into your oponents inventory by being freakin meleekicked into oblivion
I've kind of gotten used to that being a threat in Anomaly.
That if I get my FAVORITE weapon knocked out of my hand in the dark in the grass and forest, sometime I cant find the goddamn thing again.
Especially if its while I'm getting messed up and retreating. I cant find the spot again. Sometimes I dont even notice its gone until I try to draw it again on the other side of the map.
But since I've got my kill drops and carry weight turned up I've just added that into he experience as having to build another favorite gun.

But it would be nice to have the option to turn that off too.

I've been looking for this. Thank you. I'm tired of dropping my weapon every time i get hit. tiresome mechanic and detracts from game imo.
I know this is not entirely related to the mod, but is there a way to decrease the cam knockback on hit? It's one thing to have some knockback but spinning 360 degrees multiple times is a bit annoying
