The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
An alternative to Anomaly's default player footsteps, audio taken from the fantastic Project Reality mod for BF2. Includes footsteps for all surface types as well as slight gear foley mixed in to the audio. Includes nothing else to maximize compatibility with other audio mods. I plan on expanding the footstep variety in the future when I can jump the engine limit hurdle on the maximum audio files per surface, but for now, enjoy! All credit goes to the Project Reality audio team, all I did was find the appropriate audio, convert the files, and add the proper ogg comments so they'll work in Anomaly.

You can always ask Pidorska He made the EFT Footsteps addon (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/escape-from-tarkov-footsteps-and-tinnitus-replacers) and was able to add 6 different sound effects per surface.
I'll look into that, more variety on the same surfaces would be handy to work with.
That awkward moment on the video when you walk over some metallic stuff, and it sounds exactly like if you were running on concrete. Is it just me, or it doesnt sound metallic at all?
There's a metallic clank to it, but many of PR's footsteps are only slightly different from one another surface-to-surface while walking or jogging. It's more noticeable when sprinting, which makes sense to me given you're not looking to stomp around as loud as possible. I did what I could with the source audio, and it'll likely sound better once I figure out how to add more sounds per surface.
Thx for the reply. Will try and see the difference now. It honestly sounded the same on the video. Might be my speaker setup tho. Bass is life.
PR weapon when?
While I would love to, the guns in the current build of Anomaly are poorly implemented from different weapon mods with pretty ****** consistency. In the future I want to start that project, but not until the 1.5 release is actually out with (hopefully) a better quality pass.
