Even for exos this time?
And about the beta version? Is it compatible?

Ignore my last comment. Currently there is no support for older versions of anomaly. I'll post a patch soon.

Are you saying about the Exos? Because I installed the 1.2 version of your add-on and it works on the Update 4 of Anomaly, except for Exos (but it works if I use night-vision on Exos too).

Do I have to uninstall Grok 1.2? It's 2 GB, how this addon can contain the Groks one?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote
navjotski Author
navjotski - - 88 comments

Yes you should remove that one because that will cause issues. Also this is V1.1 (check changelog) so file size is decreased to like 250 mb.

Ok, I installed over it, then the patch following the instructions (deleting the main add-on script folder) and it works like a charm (at least for now!). However it's easy to uninstall the Grok 1.2, it's just a bunch of texture files. I wonder how did you make it so smaller than the preceding version...
The addon itself is GORGEOUS, with the amazing reflections is just what Anomaly should have always be. Thank you so much for your amazing work and keep up the good job!

There is a db compressor tool that does this. I don't know the background mechanism tbh.

File actor_effects.script are from RC15, not RC18, so changes from RC18 not in actor_effects.script from this mod. If you compare files from RC15 and RC18 you found more than 15 changes. Most of then adds new lines of code. So your mod for RC15 not RC18.

Hey. I coded the reflections etc for Nav's Masks. The base file is RC15, but FeelFried's anims patch should be RC18. Just install FeelFried's add-on then this one, and the compatibility patch, then you should be all set.

Great overlay textures! But can we get a version without this color filter/whatever it is with SEVAs and other outfits? I don't really appreciate the whole world going green or purple.

Any way you could make the mask go completely to the back, high magnification scopes seem to overlap the mask and it looks pretty funny, really good mod otherwise!

It s me from the comment above, just registered on the website for convenience. =)

So i have only 2 mods that are in conflict with yours - it's "LESS INTENSE ENHANCED RECOIL EFFECTS" and "BEEF'S SHADER BASED NVGS" but i merged them with yours using WinMerge and there should be no problem with that i hope.

The droplet overlay i was talking about is the same as in this mod (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/mask-droplets-overlay-fix). For whatever reason as soon as i moved from Grok's version of your mod to the new version you made, that droplet overlay just gone. Also on the screenshots you have in description there is no droplets overlay also, so i'm wondering if it was intentionaly made so, or is there something i am missing here

Glad you registered :) droplets and reflections for some textures were intentionally turned off like respirator with no glass, overcoat hoods etc. Other than that droplets work fine for rest of the masks. Try using the compatibility patch from beef's addon and just the textures from the droplet addon. Try running my mod without other mods just to be sure.

My man =) What we have here is a failure to communicate...
So its not compatibility issue, i am 100% sure of it. When i delete your textures - droplets from the moist are there on the overlay, but as soon as i use your masks its gone and i am not speaking about rain droplets - they render just fine so i can wipe them and be fancy and all. What i am missing is the moist droplets which you cannot wipe, the stay on borders of the masks - that's what i am talking about =)

Anyway it's no worries dude, Thank you for your mode, i am able to enjoy it nonetheless <3

I was able to fix the problem mate! Guess how? by deleting user.itx file xD So in the end it was not your masks or other mods interfering but the game itself=| Thanx again for all the attention and care to my problem
