Narrative Loadscreens addon - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Hello there! A long time ago, someone recommended to me that I write loadscreen quotes in the same vein as my dialogue lines. So here it is! This mod replaces the loadscreen tips with 151 original narrative extracts that depict the variety of life inside (and perhaps outside) the Zone. If you like the writing style in Dialogue Expanded, then I imagine you'll like these ones too. Thanks to freedom_is_garbage for the translation work! Some examples can be seen below.

The blazing campfire shot up defiantly into the black night sky and the three wayfarers were all glad of its comfort. They didn't have any more stories to tell and the guitar was busted, so they just sat there, vaguely listening. They felt a sense of danger, but removed danger, like gunshots over the horizon. One by one, they drifted off to sleep.

With a scraping noise, the massive door swung open on its rusty hinges; it had been decades since this door was opened. The half-dozen Spetsnaz operators trained their weapons on the utterly black passageway just revealed and waited for orders. After a pause, a feral bellow issued from somewhere deep inside the installation.

After I tied my shoes I did one last check: coat, food, some money, a pair of felt boots and the old hunting rifle. As I stepped out the door, thin arms clasped me from behind. "Please don't, you won't come back." I turned around and gathered Katya's hands within mine. "I will. And everything will be better." That's the last thing I said to her.

Привет всем! Однажды, кто-то предложил мне написать новые подсказки для экрана загрузки, в стиле моего предыдущего мода. Наслаждайтесь! Мод заменяет обычные подсказки в окне загрузки на 151 оригинальный отрывок историй, которые откроют новые стороны жизни в Зоне (и возможно за её пределами). Если вам понравился мой в Dialogue Expanded, думаю этот мод вам тоже зайдет. Вот несколько примеров из мода.

Сирена умолкла, а это дурной знак. Небо взрывалось оранжевыми всполохами и фиолетовыми молниями. Бункер был всего в нескольких шагах, только с Ильей, висящем на моем раненом плече, эти шаги казались километрами, ноги мои подкашивались. Пульсирующая волна уже двинулась с горизонта, я втащил Илью в бункер и захлопнул дверь. Поблагодарив всех Богов на свете, я отключился.

Я застыл за дверью в нерешительности. Я там чуть не умер, по крайней мере, был очень к этому близок. По-хорошему, надо было бежать отсюда, чтоб только пятки сверкали, но... В ангаре снова раздался стрекот автоматов и громогласный рык. "Ну, говнюк, будешь должен" подумал я про себя, и, перезарядившись, вбежал обратно.

Видишь того алкаша в углу? Он раньше был местной знаменитостью, лучшим охотником за артефактами, у него отбоя от клиентов не было. Однажды на него напала стая собак и здорово подрала ему ноги. Зона - забавное место, в плохом смысле этого слова.
