The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
This mod adjusts the torch (flashlight) to be more modern with 2x light distance (40m) (or 5x/100m), larger light radius and color change. For 1.5 beta 3.0 hotfix 8. Install ** only use one file ** put file in db\addons folder Resources configs\items\items\items_devices.ltx Changes 1.1 - lowered light radius to 80, it was 90 like the modern headlamp
Could be a little dimmer than the modern headlamp, to emphasize the headlamp as an upgrade, but very nice otherwise!
Well, headlamp is anyway an upgrade, since it's hand-free ! So, on the contrary, I would think of making the torch better to keep it valuable. To keep the feel of having to make a choice, better lighting or free hands !
i used the same value for the light radius that i did for the headlamp when it should be 10 less or so. i'll submit a new one in a bit with the change
Thank you! Awesome mod, makes the flashlight and headlamp much more usable imo.
wait, the mod change the FLASHLIGHT's light radius? or the HEADLAMP? which one tho since the flashlight is a newbie friendly, but not gonna stand for long
flashlight, there is a headlamp version too few posts below
Awesome mod!
where I get the file "items_devices.ltx" is not in the discharge and now the flashlight does not work, if I press the L key the flashlight does not appear in the hands and obviously does not turn on
Nice mod bro.. finally a reason to use torch light now !
Any plan to do more color choice? ?
Is the flashlight supposed to be very blue? Or is another mod causing this as a side effect

My game crashed 1 minute into the game.
I put the files in the addon folder and nothing changes but if I use the modern headlamp addon it works fine. What is the problem with this mod?
Hi, aaaanon. Would you pls update your mod to 1.5.1? Ty
