The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
A simple port of the Misery footprints over to Anomaly complete with gear rustling noises and every surface working as it should. Also recorded a decent inventory open sound with my military style backpack. If you don't like it go into gamedata/sounds and delete interface. Should be compatible with future updates as it doesn't mess with configs.
I haven't played Misery, what this mod exactly do to the gear? thanks!
it just adds rustling noise to simulate your gear moving. No problem :)
Diggin it. Thanks for the upload.
One thing I give to the Misery mod and team is the sound design. Thanks for this!
Thanks!
while you're at it, can you re-add the sound effect from brandishing/holstering from shoc
Really nice addon, thank you, much better than the original sounds. Cheers!
I really n'joy this backpack sound, great addon_
Such an amazing addon. Well done! I can't play without this pack anymore.
Can a version with amplified sounds be created? I could barely hear the footsteps at all in the rain.
Would you post a demonstration video of the sounds so I know exactly what I'm getting in this? Mostly interested in what the backpack opening sounds like, but the boots on all the surfaces in-game and stuff would be great to hear too.
Right? I hate when it forces me to download it to hear
The sound of walking through grass is great but the foot sounds for metal and wood are too pronounced to the point of unrealism. Also the original Anomaly foot sounds have more cohesion between materials. They use the same underlying effect combined with the different material sound. I prefer not to use this mod despite the high quality walking sounds for grass.
i installed the optional "EFT aim behaviour" files and now the EFT aim rattle is gone. did i do something wrong?

Hey OG_Grinskin91, thank you for the addon! It runs fine on my game.
I'm using version 1.5, with hotfix 8 and the 1.4 update, with Generic Mod Enabler, version 2.6.0.157.
I'm a big fan of Stalker, and rediscovered the game after so many years. And I keep finding these gems, like Call of Chernobyl before and now, Anomaly and its add-ons. Yours, it helps with the immersion, at least for me. So thanks again!
Not working in 1.5.1. Any idea how to fix that?
Is this mod compatible with 1.5.1?
