More functions to interact with the world (and not only) via PDA.

Before we start, biggest thanks to ravenascendant , helped to understand almost every single line in this addon ;]
Also Longreed for helping me understand some confusing GUI moments.
Menus are opened by right clicking PDA and choosing "PDA menu". You can tweak some options to your taste with MCM addon > > > MCM HERE CLICK < < <
What it has at this moment (more detailed description below):
- Raid:
- Allows you to search for NPCS who are willing to join you for money.
- Buy info:
- You can send message to everyone and ask if anybody saw:
- Artefact (chosen from list);
- Mutant (chosen from list);
- Stalker (written in input box);
- Games:
- You can pass the time during emission by playing some games xd:
- 15 Puzzle;
- Slot machine;
- Snake.
- 21.
- Sudoku.
- Trade:
- Allows you to order items.
- Notepad:
- Comms:
- Send help message (for the start).
- Ask for surge/psi-storm time.
- Ask for overall situation on level (noticed stalkers and mutants).
- Tasks:
- Some tasks which you can pick and complete distantly.
FAQ
- If you feel that task targets are monolith only - decrease Radius for task target in MCM.
- Task givers do not reset targets instantly, give it some time.
- Some mutants from tasks appear only at night, tracker will still be on them at day.
- If you ordered an item and NPC does not reply for a long time - you got scammed. (If you ordered it from unique character like trader then it's a bug, report to me.)
- 3D PDA will not be added, else it will lose some functionality due to engine.
- If you want items in trade list from other addons - add their sections to "pda_trade_items.ltx"
- Task for items asks you to bring amount of "Uses" not amount of "Items" (if item is multiuse).
Detailed description
Raid
You choose the location and send message to everyone, letting them know you are hiring people for Raid to a chosen location. Price of hired squad will depend on location's danger, squad size and time (for how long they'll join you). After some time you'll see incoming messages with their squad description and cost. I know that in vanilla we can do the same via dialogue, but it requires to run around and ask everyone personally, 21st century come on.
Buy info
This menu allows you to find certain Artefact/Mutant/Stalker by asking other NPCs. Similar to Raid menu you will see incoming messages with Sender's description and their price. Once you buy information from them - they will tell you where they saw the chosen target. WARNING: NPC can lie, this is based on faction, reputation and relations toward you (this can be disabled in MCM).

Just some mini games to play to pass the time a bit ;]
Trade (v0.4)
Here you can find item you want, choose amount, delivery location and send the order message. Traders that are willing to sell will respond and when you choose one of them - they will start preparing your order. When item is delivered, trader will send you a message and mark a stash in PDA where you can get your items.
Items in the list are vanilla's, if you want to add new items added from some addon, add their sections into "configs/plugins/pda_trade_items.ltx".
(0.4) There are traders and random stalkers in the pool:
- Traders only respond if you already visited their area. They can only sell items that they really can have in their assortiment (which in default game has tiers and based on goodwill). Price is similar to what you pay personally, plus it takes time, plus some fee for delivery.
- Stalkers can respond for any item, but chance is small (except "trash" type items). Their price is also much higher. WARNING: They can scam you. Scam chance depends on reputation, whereas max reputation is almost 0% to scam and worst reputation is almost 100%.
Notepad (v0.3)
Just a diary/notepad to make notes. To edit already existing notes - type the note number in small window and press "Edit". To delete note - type the note there and press "X".
Comms (v0.5)
Menu for banter/chat and other messages:
- "SOS signal" which you can send and nearby stalkers will come to help (maybe), works only when you are in combat. It has a certain radius, cooldown and it costs you 50 reputation. Use it as last resort because it can attract enemies too. Goodwill 0 towards NPC that saw your message means zero chance that he's coming, goodwill 2000 means that NPC will come to help 100%, goodwill -2000 means NPC will come to help finish you 100% ;] Distance, cooldown, duration of NPC walking toward your call, limit of squads that can respond - all adjustable in MCM (just in case someone asks again).
- "Ask emission/psi-storm time" sends a message of approximate emission/psi-storm time. Respond chance based on goodwill, time accuracy depends on NPC faction. Cooldown is 1 in-game hour.
- "Location status" NPCs will reply with who they see on this location. Depends on goodwill with their faction, cooldown is 3 in-game hours.
Tasks (v0.6)
You can pick certain task type in PDA and NPC will respond with the target/location/reward description. For now only NPCs that you've met at least once can respond. Each task type has cooldown which you can change in MCM, aswell as many other options. By default all task info automatically goes to your "Notes". Reward is based on target's difficulty.
- Mutant Hunt / Bounty: kill mutants or stalker, nothing special. (Just fyi keep in mind that some mutants are night creatures and will only appear at night.)
- Guide: help stalker get to his desired location (stalker has to be alone, in radius of 150 meters of actor, be novice or trainee). You get full reward only if you escort him in time, if not - then he will pay you only part of the reward. Your goodwill/reputation also increase a bit when task is finished or decrease by a lot when NPC is dismissed or dead.
- Find item: find items, place them in the marked stash near the task giver and receive reward. Each trader type will ask for specific items: barman will ask for meat, scientists for mutant parts/artefact, medics for medicine etc (usual traders can ask for all of them, but their chance to respond and reward are lower). If target is multiuse item - asked amount is USES, not amount of items.
- Dangerous squad: same as first two just for high-ranking squad.
- Steal item: steal the quest item from enemy base and bring it to the trader's stash.
- Guard position: get reward based on how long you guarded some position.
- Scout locations: simply scout locations and get money for it, similar to Arszi's scout tasks.
- Find artefact: find and bring unique artefact from anomaly zone.
- Courier: simple delivery task for some extra reward if it's on your way ;]
Compatibility etc
Should be compatible with everything. Should also be safe to install/uninstall whenever, but just in case if you have active companions from "Raid" menu - dismiss them before uninstalling.
Tested on 1.5.1 and 1.5.2, seems to work on both.

- 1.6: IMPORTANT! Finish or cancel (with MCM) all Interactive PDA Tasks before updating to this version.
- Small overhaul of task system:
- 2 new tasks "Find unique artefact" and "Courier".
- Moved active tasks to another "Notes" tab, also you can now cancel them one by one without MCM.
- Added max limit of active tasks (adjustable in MCM).
- Grace period (2 game hours after taking) during which you can cancel tasks without any penalties.
- Cancelling tasks after grace period will now result in small goodwill/reputation penalty.
- Added extra reward based on target level, for example Cordon having mult of *0.75 to reward and Pripyat *1.25.
- 1.5:
- Added "21" game (sort of a blackjack with slightly different rules).
- Added "Sudoku" game and its MCM options for difficulty and reward. Hover cell and press number on your keyboard to fill it up.
- Fixed "Notes" extraction into .txt, there was a memory error earlier. You can now extract infinite amount of notes, tested with around 1500.

- task giver shows current target's location now instead of saved one (in case target moved somewhere else).
- removed animation items (such as "_script") from "find item" task pool.

Also, sometimes they ask to guide the stalkers in some place in the chat, it would be possible to add the ability to answer them in the same way through the chat and accept it

Hmmm as for guides, I don't think I can take tasks that you see in news, but I can make my own. We send a message and ask if anyone need a guide and NPC answer, how does that sound? ;]

Here are my thoughts for ideas:
How about buying weapons and gear for less cash than from traders, but with varying condition of course, obviously less than 100% since they're used.
Buying items, pretty much any item you want and can't find on the nearest trader, or items that can't be bought like tools. Right now I'm searching for expert tools to apply upgrades to my outfit and craft some good stuff, I would love to pay for the expert tools but technicians don't sell them, and if they do it would cost a fortune with hard hard difficulty.
Asking for guides, just like npcs do through chat, this could be nice for people overloaded with loot and don't feel like walking all the way across the map. You accept one and his location is shown on your pda, having him spawn near you would be awkward, rather be you walking to him.
I personally don't really like anything related to fast travel, anyone being guide in that case. But I'm sure a lot of people gonna love it, not gonna lie this will still be low in my priority list ;p
For weapons, yes I'm currently thinking how to implement something like this and random stashes and for it to not be either insignificant or too broken ;] Thanks!
you could set so weapons are tiered based on your rank from rookie to legend, anyway i should not take all the weapons there, only the more common ones, so traders and gamma crafting are still reliable

dude, if you are able to inplement the diary i'll kiss your feet man... always thought about this, even searched for the scripts in some other mods (oblivion lost i think) for this but of course never got anything to run

Holy ****, it looks like XXI century has finally came to the Zone!
For trading, it would be cool if NPCs could lure player into a trap, instead of stash there could be an enemy squad spawned.
Also I think this online trading with regular traders is kinda OP, as you can just order anything at any time.
Would it be possible to tie the traders response to player goodwill/rank? As it would be resonable that our Zone business Lord Sidorovich wouldn't bother to prepare an order for some rookie guy and deliver it to the center of the zone.
It would also increase the difficulty at the beginning so player should rely on normal stationary trade or risk beeing scamed/lured into trap.

It's probably out of this addon, but it would be really cool if the psy bar is way more important than now. like it'll be reduced if you got attacked by a mutant (Especially if possible from a sneaky attack", you can describe it as "Scared" and the only way to recover it by smoking (So drinking and smoking can get another purpose besides for looking cooler(?)).
cuz after we've got the psy helmet, the psy-bar rarely even reduced cuz the only dangerous thing for it is the controller alone. some kind of your Cold systems addon might be cool.

About suggestions for new features - I always wanted to have an opportunity to get tasks remotely, useful for non-standard playthrough when you're away from the standard faction base. Would be great if you could make that happen

Wow, I didn't knew I wanted this addon.
Since you asked for suggestions:
1. Taking quests remotely from stalkers and faction quest givers. Maybe even make special quests involving stashing items in an specific container.
2. A sort of marketplace or auction tab. If you purchase / Win an item it could get sent into a nearby container and get it marked on your PDA map.
3. Sending out a distress call that would call for nearby friendlies (random chance to attract enemy stalker squads instead.
4. Games: Classic Snake, Tetris, Sokoban ?

You can 'start quests' in real life by phone so.
Task system is too complicated, can't promise anything.

Я думаю не совру, если скажу, что это АХУЕННА и ИНТЕРАКТИВНО, плевать на лор и реализм, мы всё таки здесь ради удовольствия. По поводу идей - как насчет добавить такого интерактива, как специальные отряды нанятых ГГ убийц / охотников / артхантеров, которые смогут за большую плату выполнять за ГГ квесты, т.е. убивать нужные цели, искать определенные нужные арты в указанных локациях, искать и убивать, лутать определенных мутантов (это вообще возможно, если нужно будет отправлять их на другую локацию для убийства/поиска нужного артефакта/мутантской части, тут влияет оффлайн/онлайн для НПЦ?)

Integrate what exactly? I don't want player to have a debug mode as a feature ;s I want you to pay for it, have a chance and spend time waiting for answers from actual NPCs who actually see the target ;p

Yeah, being able to keep my own diary each life would be a really cool immersive feature. Maybe export the notes to a .txt file automatically too so they don't get deleted in ironman deaths.

Usually when I stack up on a lot of meat/pelts/ammo/meds to sell, y actually take out windows calculator and do the thing to have an approximately value about the stuff before deciding if im selling it, or the money doesnt make it up for it.
How about stash coordinates? We'd ask for any "leftovers", with a chance of being scammed )) Random amount of Rubles for a random amount of loot. Would be useful in case of various emergencies, with a possible twist of not finding what you needed. Preferably limit the coords to current and neighbour locations.

Reading about this, what about making some of those "scam" stashes, boobytraps. IIRC Last day had something like this? You hear a click when you open the stash and have about a second to get back before you get blown up. Seems kinda immersive to me

I have a couple of ideas.
1. I would like, as nostalgia for the call of Pripyat, to see cells, for my favorite weapon and the strongest mutant or the last killed mutant.
2. In one of the modifications to the call of Chernobyl, I saw the ability to write messages (not through the pda, but through another device), but it would be cool to write a message to someone on the pda and some random npc would answer with any answer, but the messages are certainly not free. The longer the message, the more expensive it is.
3 I also met such an addon, (perhaps it does not apply to the modification of the pda, but still) "News from the mainland", it sends messages to the pda about all the news that occurs in our real world. (having studied this addon, I realized that it works on the link of one site to which the news comes, but the site became not working. (I’ll probably leave a link to download this addon, maybe you can remake it for an anomaly, please

1. This is about world interaction mostly, not HUD displaying. "Sorting plus" addon has a feature to mark weapon as favorite.
2. This is not impossible, but will be extremely difficult because it can be based only on the chain of keywords. Maybe in the future.

When you say that they can lie about information, can they use it to ambush you when you get to the location they mentioned?
Not yet, for now they just send you the wrong target's location.

Yeah I strongly agree with this. Custom map markers would be very helpful, especially when you don't fully loot a stash but want to make a note of what's left in it to pick it up later.
I don't know how to place tracker by clicking on PDA map (anywhere you want). It can only be placed on an object ;[
