Well, if you look at the link that says "Demo", you'd see that it reintroduces the Identify-Friend-or-Foe tags on the Binoculars. It doesn't do anything with the detector items, it reactivates the detect characters feature that was removed in Anomaly.

If I knew it was simply a value to add in the config file ^^ Anomaly should add that fonction back, I know why it could seem too OP, but I suppose it could be added from an upgrade for exemple !
i noticed the base file for this mod is out of date so i made a pastebin with an updated file that enables the binocular vision: Pastebin.com from a newly unpacked file the lines to edit are 54 and 55, set the color to 0.7,0.7,0.7,1.0 and speed to 4
Yeah, I used update 3 files. I didn't figure it would crash, but now that I think about it would break magnification upgrades again.
I'll switch the files.
It makes binoculars something more than useless garbage in backpack. Also Its hard to identify stalkers and AI can shoot through bushes so this feature is very useful for smart gameplay.
I actually did this my self already, you have to change following line from none to what's below
found_snd = detectors\DA-2_beep1
I actually unpacked the sounds from Shadow of Chernobyl to get the authentic beep sound and it taks me back.
I couldn't figure out how to get the zoom in and out sounds to work tho. quite nostalgic
EFT is Escape From Tarkov, a russian realistic FPS game, and in this case EFT refers to a mod that attempts to bring said games weapons to stalker series, and the binocs while not in eft currenty, are a part of the EFT mod. EFT binocs just have different model and some minor tweaks to the zoom values I guess, oh and different animations I guess.
How can I make the zoom extremely strong? so I can see clearly very far away.
If I put too high a number after "scope_zoom_factor" the zoom range is very poor.
I can't really use a number higher than 20.

Absolutely all mods that add automatic target capture when using binoculars have a problem when the binoculars are hanging in the air, below the hands and upside down. How do I fix this?

EFT binocs just have different model and some minor tweaks to the zoom values I guess, oh and different animations I guess.
By that I mean an addon that changes the binoculars model and animation.
It's linked in the description, make sure to use the EFT .ltx from my addon.

write there 5 or 10. Less number = more zoom. This is how it works in a stalker.
