Stalker_Boss made 1.5.1 compatible version of the previously popular "Death Animations" by AyyKyu
Thanks for the singular upload. However Mod Manager is showing that it overwritten loose files from the "Stealth" mod, is it safe?
I heard it has compatibility patch (which is actually the entire mod, because DA only changing 5 lines) ;]
It conflicts with the Stealth mod. You will acquire world peace if you install both of them together. That meaning, no human on the zone will fire at each other, or even pull the trigger at any death threat.
Considering the creator of Stealth mod bvcx commented months before you to the exact same guy that his mod was is now compatible with Death Animations now from a recent patch I would assume it is now safe and should no longer conflict.

this is great, thank you kahntei. is there a way to add a constant, small ragdoll chance as well as 100% at headshot?
in gamedata/configs/creatures/, the file in there, go find the line with "kill_sniper_headshot" and delete it. It solved it for me.

hate to be that guy but actually neither ayykyu nor stalker_boss would need to be *credited* here (altough it's nice) since the death animations have been in the game definitions for a long time and removing a couple of " ; " does not need too much specialized knowledge.
on an another note: ragdoll physics work better for NPCs if you do reduce their mass in the m_stalker.ltx aswell. A value of 40 or 20 for weight will have them drop way more natural, even without the death animations.

Once Anomaly 5.0 and up boom broken for thousands of us. Its rough!!! I had no idea and finally decided to check it out after all these years. And my ******* installed the old OG version and when I read the comments... oh man was I upset :(
This upload here may have saved my game files, but I doubt it as Death Animations breaks the game AI and now I think Im stuck with it.
Works but sometimes enemies will stop to put away their weapons before going into a death animation. Even zombies lol
does the mod break the enemy AI? coz i had that problem using the previous version of death animations

Please someone reply!!! Does this save a broken game from the OG Death Animations Mod? I made the stupid mistake of installing it. I used MO2 and have NOT opened the game. I learned that the OG Mod broke the game AI after I had already installed it and activated it via MO2.
Since the issue with OG Mod was that the files it replaced were old versions of Anomaly AI and when Anomaly updated to 5.0 the AI broke for those with OG Mod.
Will installing this save my mistake? Or am I doomed to lose my 1000 hours of Anomaly play throughs :(

could always make a copy of your whole Stalker game folder and try it.. if something messes up go back to the backup

I used the original Death Animations mod with Anomaly 1.5.1 no problem, but that's probably because I started it with a new game. Do you think switching it midgame to this one updated for 1.5.1 would have any effect or would it be redundant?
So were it the difference between this and "Death Animations [2.4 - 3.0]" from Ayykyu ?
The files are both like ~ 6,50 to 6,80KB big O.o
This version is compatible with the current version of Anomaly, says so in the description.

I think I might've found a way to get Stealth 2.3 to work together with Kahntei's version of Death Animation was hoping to get more people to try it and see if it works:
- From the mods .zip file extract both the mod's folder
- Copy and paste Kahntei's Death Animation's gamedata folder and replace into Stealth 2.3's gamedata folder
- Copy and paste the (Patch) Death Animation gamedata folder and replace the Stealth 2.3 gamedata folder
- Compress and .zip the file and ensure the folder is all in order and install using MO2
I have not tried this with AyyKyu's original version of death animation but I haven't noticed any bugs or 'peace mode' AI glitch yet but let me know if this works for yall too.
