Changed some of the mutant spawns (mainly in underground places) because teh original ones were boring
List of changes
- X-18: Bloodsuckers, psysuckers and other stuff replaced with controllers and burers/karliks. Regular poltergeist replaced with poltergeist_build.
- X-8: Replaced normal burers with fire and electra burers.
- Agropom Underground: The controller that spawns behind you can only be a controller. Bloodsuckers and psysuckers always spawn and don't get replaced by the weird zombie thing stuff, which still spawns, together with another zombie.
- Jupiter Underground: Replaced some zombified stalkers with actual zombies and added a controller.
- Darkscape: Replaced the bloodsuckers near that place(yes, that one) with lurkers. Also replaced the clear sky squad with hostile renegades(no matter what your faction is)
- General: Zombie hordes are larger and include unused zombies. Credits to ZOng22
v1.1 - fixed the crash in X-18 and added boryas to Darkscape and Jupiter Underground. Also added a controller to the bloodsucker village in army warehouses.
v1.2 - added more boryas to Jupiter Underground by replacing some snorks and removed some zombies and zombified stalkers because there were too much. Replaced 2 monolith squads in the CNNP with boryas and lurkers and a bibliotekar, raised the number of monolithians in the other 3 squads to balance this. Replaced 2 of the normal poltergeists in Pripyat outskirts with a pyrogeist and pseudogeist. Replaced two tushkanos with a bibliotekar in the same area. Replaced some snorks with boryas and a bibliotekar in Jupiter. Added boryas to simulation_lurker , simulation_lurker_brown, simulation_lurker_black, simulation_lurker_blue and simulation_lurker_1_2 so they spawn naturally.
v1.3 - replaced the bibliotekar in Jupiter with an albino pseudogiant(the one that can jump) and added them to simulation_gigant so they can spawn naturally.
v1.4 - tried to fix the crash in Agropom Underground several times. It works, but I had to start a new playthrough. I tried everything, even removing squad_descr_agropom_underground.ltx but it still crashed during the Loading Screen Time™
Nice! I've always wanted the X-labs to be more of a dangerous place! Did you add unused mutants like the bibloteklar to the mix?
Should I? Idk wether to add them or not because they don't have their own mutant parts and are technically other mutants, and killing a ******* biblioteklar just to get a zombie hand or killing a borya to get a snork hand is a bit disappointing.
Maybe give them some high level parts?
Chimera and pseudo giant parts?
yeah true. It still should be an option for the hardcore stalkers out there.
New game required, comrade?
I think so. My game crashed once I opened the first door in X-18. I had no problems after I deactivated the addon.
It doesn't, I must have ****** something up if it crashed.
Just released a new version, it should work. Also added boryas to some places. Where should I add bibliotekars
Checked it out and it's working, released a new version again, with more boryas and bibliotekars added.
nice!
I remember one time a few months ago I messed around with the debug menu and spawned some bibliotekars. They were so janky and hilarious. Just for that I wouldn't mind seeing them. By the way, in the debug there are these nasty pseudo giant variants that don't spawn naturally that can leap a big distance toward targets. Maybe you should look at those too.
Replaced the bibliotekar in Jupiter with one and added them to simulation_gigant so they spawn naturally.
Mod bomb! I would like to know if there will be a translation into Russian?
There are also many variations of unused zombie types.
The addon includes ZOng22's Zombie Hordes addon to some degree. Zombie squads are not as big as in his addon, but they are still bigger than in the vanilla mod and include the unused zombies. It's like this from the original release or v1.1, I just forgot to mention in the description, which I will update immidiately.
Good job and thanks for the info. This is why I hate 60 dollar games and corporate companies. They only want your money and never listen to complaints or feedback. Meanwhile on Moddb and some other sites most people are kind and helpful, and everything is free.
Thanks!
