With the amount of weeb and meme mods available for Anomaly, I am still surprised someone didn't do a modpack just for the lols of it.
Dont work. I setup in JSGME
Use MO2, it has way more functionality than JGSME and is much easier to handle/setup different modbuilds.
Use MO2, MO2 doesn't overwrite the mods permamently

I've tried to get this mod to work in a few ways. JSGME and MO2, neither of them work. No matter what I do, the voice lines remain the same as without the mod.
I even reinstalled the game and only ran with that mod on, but alas that did not work. No anime girl voice lines, only the boring vanilla ones.
At this point I have no clue what to do to get this to work so I need to ask for help.
Any help will be much appriciated
This is very strange, usually sound addons are always installed very easily and without any problems.
However, make sure that the addon folder in the "MODS" folder is located as follows: MODS\Anime Voice Actor\gamedata\sounds\"everything else"\
Sometimes unpackers of archives may duplicate folder to folder, and you may get the following: MODS\Anime Voice Actor\Anime Voice Actor\gamedata\sounds\"everything else"\
in that case the addon is simply placed in the root folder of the game: Anomaly REDUX\Anime Voice Actor\ and does not affect the files in any way.
If this doesn't help either, then install it directly by copying the original voice files, i.e. the folders: gamedata\sounds\bhs
sounds\characters_voice
sounds\interface
and put the folder gamedata from the addon in the root of the game.
I use MO2 so idk if the first solution you gave helps, but I have it in the order mods/Anime_Voice_Actor/gamedata/sounds/the rest
I tried putting it into the root folder, but the gamedata foulder doesn't have a sounds folder in base Anomaly. I put the sounds folder in there from the mod, but that didn't do anything.
None of those solutions help me, I have no clue what I've done wrong.
No anime voice actor for me then...
Is it possible that something is missing from the mod? The other voice mods I used before had a configs and scrips foulder along with a sounds foulder in gamedata, but this mod only has sounds

I'm not going to lie. I've tried to install it using MO2, JSGME and manually and I can't manage to make it work.
The archives are in the correct folders, everything should be working correctly but somehow it is not working.
Same goes for Anomaly versions, tried with 1.5.1, then tried to update it to 1.5.2 and same results.. somehow it doesn't work. I'm not saying that you did something wrong mainly because seems like there's a lot of ppl that made it work but me and a few others players are struggling to make it work somehow.
I have followed the instruction to install it but i am having the same problem as everyone else, BUT the Item usage sounds work like drinking and using medkits, the other sounds like pain or exhaustion does not work.
I am looking around and testing some other Voice mod and works just fine, got to played around with the voice folders of other mods to move some of this voice there, some voice work but now some does not. this would be fun to use if it just work like the others

Hello everyone.
In vanilla 1.5.1/1.5.2 Anomaly, this mod do not work. It use files that game do not feature. Some scripts and stuff.
But you can download some mod that have that files (for example Moddb.com ), and than put inside Anime Voice Actor. Actor voice will work properly. Voice for animations require some files I do not explored.
May we... Have a version that sounds.... Uhmm... Older?
This one isnt bad by any means. But this is the closes functioning addon I can get to having a female voice
